She walked away, wadding through the icy water. "Hey." She sidled up to the other apprentice. "Why're you in the snow? Its cold."
[ definitely didn't forget about this nope ]
Gingerpaw was visibly shivering. She had overheard one of the elders say that tough trials made tough cats. Or... something like that? "Endurance training. After this, I'll be ready for anything. Would you like to join me?" she asked, trying her best to keep her teeth from chattering. The feeling of the cold snow against her pelt was beginning to bite at her, and Gingerpaw felt as though she'd be devoured by the cold at any moment.

DOGSPRING

TW: DEPRESSIVE THOUGHTS.
They didn't know what to feel.
Terror? Despair? Pain? Guilt?
All they felt was... numb. After their meeting with their mother, Dogspring hadn't left the camp. Even days after, they refused to leave. They couldn't risk seeing her again. She would stick to her words, they knew she would. Blacksnow always told the truth of her actions. If she said she would do something, then she would. And they didn't want to risk it at any cost.
Dogspring was sitting in the clearing, having hardly moved from their spot in days. Simply sitting there, staring off into nothingness. They were endlessly lost in thought. Even as the Clan bustled around them, Dogspring couldn't bring themselves to move. They hadn't spoken since the meeting. They didn't have the need to. Their paws were glued to the ground, a seemingly lifeless statue set up in the camp. Loud noises caused them to flinch. Anytime someone passed by them, they froze up, fully expecting to see Blacksnow appear at any moment. It wasn't possible, she wouldn't be able to get into camp without anyone seeing her. The camp was safe. But they couldn't shake their thoughts, their fears.
Their stomach growled. Oh, they hadn't eaten in... how long? They had lost track. How many days had they been stuck in their spot? Duties needed to be done. They couldn't fail their Clan. But they just... couldn't move. They didn't want to be alone. They never wanted to be alone again. But being alone was their punishment, of course it was. It was their fault, after all. They caused Briarbelly's demise. If they had only been a better child...

RAHHHH (velli)
He was shaking from his toe beans to the tip of his head fluff. Too late. Too late. He had been too late, and now he stood in front of what used to be Blizzardwind, and all he could do was cry. Being slow wasn't meant to kill anyone, but here he was, lethargic nature leading nothing more than to the literal death of a clanmate. "I'm sorry." A bumbling fool like him shouldn't be a medicine cat. Fawnlight could do better, if she could, she would have, he'd never be good enough to live up to the standards she had laid out. He wouldn't be able to save anyone.
Words entered his head and left just as quick, but he was pushed out of a stupor as a nose touched his ear. Neck craned upwards, and soon enough watery eyes were staring at Fawnlight, who, for some reason, didn't seem to hate him. Nothing to be done. Amber eyes stared into her as she spoke, and slowly the fear faded. It wasn't totally gone, words didn't have that much dominion over him, but he listened, and the more he listened, the more it consoled him. Soon enough the string of words had wrapped him in a tight hug, and the threat of spiraling was gone.
The feeling of her head setting on top of his wasn't unwelcome. It was nice, comforting, but he didn't want to feel comforted right now. He didn't know what he wanted, but he didn't want to be happy right now. It was a new experience, and for once, it wasn't something Stonepaw wanted to know.
Suddenly, she was snapping at Silversnow and his grey head turned to stare at her. Moments before she had seemed violent, furious, and now the newly named warrior had bowed her head in defeat. "O-okay." It was then that he finally stared at the other two cats, eyes moving to more red. Ginger and Russet. A couple steps were taken forwards so he could look closer at the new cat. It felt wrong to move on so quickly, but if it was what he was supposed to do, he supposed that was the right thing. This was the next right thing. Gingerfrost seemed itching to leave, but the newcomer needed help, and that was something he knew he could do. Or at least try.
"Yes, ma'am." A nod to Fawnlight before he looked back at Indigo. "Can you come with me over here?" A weak smile touched his maw, but it was just for show. There was so much to do. So much to try to accomplish, but he would do his best. Yes, he'd do his best and if it wasn't good enough he'd train until it was. "Yes, poppy seeds and cobwebs." They had those, right? He began to walk towards the medicine den, Silversnow beside him. They didn't know. He didn't know if they ever would, but it would be his goal to one day tell them how much it meant to know that he had at least a few cats on his side.

What a lovely day! Compared to that bleak hollow Cloverdust had rested in a few days ago, her nest in the warriors' den felt like it had the softest feathers and moss. She'd been back in RiverClan for some time now, but she could still feel the stinging in her legs and paws if she moved wrong. Rising from her nest—ouch, there's the aching—she stretched, a sigh of contentment escaping her.
Time to face the world! What wonders would she see today, she wondered. As her thoughts drifted off, she padded out into the clearing and squinted at the sunlight that greeted her. A bright day, befitting her equally bright mood. She could go out and hunt... or maybe go to Cattail Pond? She'd been awaiting the regrowth of those cattails, waiting for the day she could finally see what one tasted like. Or, perhaps—
Her thoughts fell short as her gaze happened upon a figure sitting in the clearing. Oh! Dogspring! Cloverdust's expression softened as she made a beeline for the black and white cat. Before her mind had a chance to catch up with her actions, she said merrily, "Dogspring, it's been a while!" Once again, she was woefully bad at reading the room.
Rainglow smiled as he watched Slatestripe's body relax. He shuffled his paws at the words 'cool uncle.' Was he really that cool? He certainly didn't think so. But if his brother thought so, then he must be pretty cool. Rainglow gave another purr. "They'll be even luckier to have you..." He mewed quietly.
Slatestripe dipped his head. “I hope so. I don’t want them to feel like their parents aren’t there for them, ever.” He’d go to the Dark Forest willingly before he’d ever allow his kits to feel abandoned. Even if he one day had to leave RiverClan, his kits would know that it wasn’t because of them.
( We can end this little rp here )

MINKRUSH
THEY/THEM
LONG FURRED BLACK AND BROWN BENGAL WITH GREEN EYES
The warrior arose from their faint slumber as they tried to catch up with the need to rest. Nights that were restless were far too common nowadays, even for them. Minkrush felt the need to at least do something productive today, or they would feel…what was it? Incomplete and Lazy. The words of their mother entered and swiftly faded ‘Why am I the only one in this family who does anything?!?’ A small shudder ran down their spine. Forcing themself to get up regardless of if they needed rest was only out of instinct.
Their long fur shifted with the winds slight breeze as they made their way through the clearing of cats either chatting or playing with clanmates, they felt sick to their stomach though. They couldn’t find a particular reason though, they just felt sick. Although nauseous would be a better word for it, yet they refuses to visit Stonepaw. It was far too late in the afternoon to go now. Besides why did they even want to visit Stonepaw, it would probably stress out the new medicine cat and they probably wouldn’t even get an answer. Stonepaw was a medical cat, not a therapist.
With that thought now losing all sense, the warrior’s head turned away from the den that seems to carry a sense and dread of lost questions, grief, despair and death locked in its chambers that was slowly poisoning the rest of the clan. The bengal was now holding their head down as they made their way out of the clearing and into the dead grass that was slowly being revived by the rain and sunlight of new leaf.
OPEN BUT MINKRUSH IS HEADING INTO THE TERRITORY

DOGSPRING

With the sound of a quite cheerful voice, Dogspring was ripped from their thoughts with a start. They blinked, heart suddenly beating faster against their chest, and turned to where the voice had come from. Upon realizing that it was Cloverdust, however, Dogspring managed to relax, fear mellowing out into relief. They managed a small smile, though their eyes still revealed the emptiness in which they felt.
Dogpsring opened their mouth to respond, though they seemed to mull over their words for multiple heartbeats, trying to find what the right thing to say would be. Instead of pondering over it for too long, they took a deep breath and opted for a quiet "hi" instead. Their voice sounded... off. Even to their own ears, the soft, raspy tone of their voice was far different from the bubbly tone it had been before. But they couldn't bring themself to speak louder. Their throat itched at the thought.
Rising into a sitting position, Dogspring shuffled their paws and looked toward Cloverdust awkwardly. It had been quite a while since they had last spoken. Almost a moon, maybe? They didn't know- all the days felt as though they were merging together into a big mass of nothingness. Ugh. They really did want to be excited to see Cloverdust, but it was impossible with how they felt.
Clearing their throat, they mumbled, "uhm... what have you been up to lately?"
