Moonpaw was satisfied with being sent out on patrol with his mentor, but she couldn't help but feel an eerie sense of unsafety as the group trekked on to the border with Thunderclan. She felt a strong, uncomfortable tension lingering in the air around them. We've been having so much trouble with them, recently... Urgh, one can never get peace in this damned forest, can't they?

Darkfall's suggestion of splitting up sounded odd in Moonpaw's ear. Shouldn't we stay together if this place is so much trouble? But she didn't say anything, sensing that the black-pelted tom probably just wished to make it as quick as possible. And she wasn't scared; on the contrary. She liked being independent and knew she wouldn't get lost. Unlike Pinepaw, if he was still here...
Yes, his clumsy brother would surely get himself lost in a few moments after being left alone.

The black tortoiseshell walked away from her group, following the border scent with particular attention not to trespass. She brushed her long fur on roots, bushes, and rocks, careful not to catch up too much debris and leaves as she did so. The stench of Thunderclan was strong enough to make her pelt prickle uncomfortably, especially in the silence of the forest.

But everything was peaceful, it seemed.

Luca hissed "Young man?" They spat, pelt bristling. "I'm not a tom or a she-cat. I was born a she-cat but I am non-binary." They mew stubbornly. "As for the fox, I'm not afraid of it. I'm not wanting to get hurt right now. I can fight it since I'm bigger then most cats and have more strength but it takes effort and I'm not up to use that right now" They huff, sitting in the tree limb calmly.

Satisfied that Moonpaw appeared to be heading off in a bother direction, Darkfall went along the border and marked a few spots. As he was rubbing his fur through some of the undergrowth and on a few trees, he noticed that the scent of ThunderClan was faint compared to its usual stinky splendor. ’That’s odd’ he thought ’I wonder what Dawnstar will do about this’.

Darkfall carefully kept an eye on the other side of the border as he began to finish up his stretch of the border and slowly make his way back. He was worried that ThunderClan may pull something and cross the border like they did before. Fortunately, so far things have been peaceful, which he was quite pleased about as he wasn’t in a mood for a fight. Not that he’d back down from one of course.

Sunstep would be do as they said and walk for another side, rubbing her long ginger fur on branches, bushes and etc...
The ginger she-cat yawned, it wasnt a good night of sleep. ``I wish i could have slept more- all these patrols.``She mumbled and trotted forward.

Moonpaw was marking the side of the border that Darkfal and Sunstep had left to her, but there was something odd that she couldn't quite grasp. Everything's so silent... Where is Thunderclan?
This time the border scent wasn't as sharp as the last time she remembered it. The Thunderclan scent was... almost blurry. She hoped she was still on the right side, since she wasn't sure anymore where the exact scent line lay.

Retracing her steps, she found easily her mentor and noticed the other warrior yawning in boredom. Without giving the she-cat much notice, she went by Darkfall's side and commented quietly: "Their scent has almost faded, am I right?"
She looked for his expression, trying to read his thoughts. What was happening in Thunderclan if they didn't even mark their borders?

’So she picked up on it too, huh?’ Darkfall thought to himself when Moonpaw sought him out and asked her question. ”Yes, it does appear to be faded, I imagine that Dawnstar will soon make her move,” He mused ”Well then, let’s head back to camp,” the young warrior declared, turning to lead the two she-cats along to report their findings to Sorrelflare.

MorningCall padded towards the border, humming slightly in enjoyment at the small stroll of the territory. She always enjoyed the feeling of being outside the camp, it felt free and peaceful. She had waited a while for her patrol partner but they seemed to have lost track of time, she hoped they would catch up with her at the border. She would hate to have to report they were a no show, she couldn’t risk waiting too long on them. She finally reached the border that divided ThunderClan and ShadowClan. Sighing she glanced around, there seems to not be anyone in sight on the ShadowClan border however their scent certainly is strong. They must have remarked the territory recently. She went about remarking the border although she had worried slightly about how any patrol on the other sides border may have taken the lack of scent markers as an opportunity. That was the last thing they needed. She waited a bit for her patrol partner to show up, if they didn’t show up soon she was going to have to report on her own.
