Today was incredibly boring. She had already conquered everyone in the nursery, whether it be in real life or in her imagination, so the Wrestling Champion of the World had to find a new source of entertainment. Marching into the clearing, fluffy tail high and proud, she quickly zeroed in on a new friend material. Not that she needed friends. Her brother was Stonepaw the Weird, Plantcat Extraordinaire! She was his faithful bodyguard, and friends were merely distractions.
But even bodyguards and wrestling champions got lonesome, so she decided to make a friend. Skipping forward, she greeted this new friend in the only way appropriate, the correct greeting customary for children 6 and under; she pounced on her tail.
Now, with Briarkit's huge, bulky muscles, she didn't want to hurt the tabby cat, so she very carefully and very gently leaped forward, attempting to pin her foe- the tail! - and then continue on with her trek to stand in front of the cat. Feathery whiskers drooped slightly, since they were so freakishly long they couldn't possibly stay straight, so she tossed her head vainly to try and get them to floof back up. It was unsuccessful, so she did the next best thing- she gave up, and decided it was high time to stop staring awkwardly at Cloverdust and initiate the socializing. "Hello ma'am!" She squawked maturely, smiling.
That was good enough for initiating. The responsibility of actually continuing the conversation was left entirely up to the older cat.
The perpetually fatigued apprentice entered the clearing after catching a whiff of the crisp air. Because of his Riverclan ancestry, his cream pelt shone sleekly. In order to ensure that his sleeping location was unoccupied, his brass eyes maintained a crisp focus. He yawned loudly and exposed his fangs to the world. His drooping ears flew about, feeling perfectly normal in this cozy setting. His floppy ears were squashed in by the thunderous roar of the waves as he walked with haughty steps toward his location. His persistently (and unusually) damp fur rippled. After turning around to find a comfortable position, he collapsed lopsidedly to the ground. He started snoozing right away and didn't want to move today. Wherever he was, that's where he'd stay, motionless. He remained generally subdued, rubbing his tummy. Snailpaw may have slapped his tail against the ground a few times with agitated tail flicks, but that's okay because he simply wanted to slumber all day. He may snooze like a kittypet, according to some, but he can also be rowdy. If he had the urge. He went by the name Snailpaw and behaved like a snail. They progress through the world steadily but slowly.
Her mind was still off in the land of rocks and trinkets when she felt something land on her tail. As she glanced over to find the perpetrator, Cloverdust noticed the kit approaching and a warm smile bloomed on her face. "What strength!" she mused, tail flicking to and fro.
She stared back at Briarkit, completely unaware of any potential awkwardness. At her greeting, Cloverdust dipped her head low. "Hello there, little one," she meowed. With this new distraction, gone were any thoughts about providing for the Clan. The warrior stood, idly dusting her paws off before padding in a circle around the kit. "My, I don't believe I've ever met a kitten with power such as yours before!" said Cloverdust. Satisfied with her faux-appraisal, she completed her circuit and settled back into her original spot. "What might your name be?"
Fogcloud, Beetlekit, Cicadapaw, and Goosehonk, honked quietly to themselves.

oh look a fossil
RAHHHH (velli)
The old tabby shecat walked over to the fresh-kill pile and grabbed a fish and walked to the elder entrance, sitting down and eating the fish. once she finished she laid down in a sunny area in the camp and yawned as the sun warmed her battle-scarred pelt.
~ Raccoonpelt walked back into the camp kit still being held by his maw. The tom made his way to the nursery and placed her down right at the entrance.
"Go play with other kits okay? No more sneaking out."
Raccoonpelt said. With a flick of his tail he went to go sit in a spot near the entrance to make sure Blushingkit didn't have any ideas again. ~

a little dejected, blushingkit started pawing at the ground as she was set down. she watched as raccoonpelt sat by the riverclan entrance, seeming to guard for any other disobedient kits.
pushing her pride aside, blushingkit called from her spot by the nursery- "sorry for bothering you, raccoonpelt... thanks for carrying me back here."
haretuft ﹕ he / him
Skinny, unkempt, brown tomcat.
Haretuft did not move. He didn't acknowledge the tail resting upon him. If anyone asked, he would deny ever enjoying the small moments of devotion but internally, its what he craved. What he needed in his very core. Even if he wouldn't admit it himself, without Bittersneeze he was like a puzzle missing its pieces; pointless.
"Every day," he murmured, words visible on the cold air, ""I pray to Starclan, that you might just go poof. Turn into a cloud of vaper and rid me of your presence," The word themselves were sharp but his voice soft and, maybe, even a little bit playful?
"But," he lifted his head, amber eyes boring into Bittersneezes white form as his gaze racked over the other tom, "Starclan is rather cruel and denys me of such a thing happening...." Hare laid his head back down, "oh well."

Bittersneeze | He/Him
A lanky pure white tom with ghostly blue eyes, long belly fur, long bushy tail, with an angular face, shoulders & ears.
Bittersneeze let out a laboured wheezy laugh, forced, but a laugh nonetheless. “No you don’t, without me you’d have to talk to everrrybody else here. N’fact I’d recon you’d hate life even more if it weren’t for me.” he lowered his head to hover just beside Hares, a slimy grin appearing on his lips. As much as Hare fought and struggled their way away from him, deep in his own heart he knew there was nobody else Hare could turn to.
Perhaps that was toxic of them, but it worked in a way that nobody else could understand just by looking them. “You are awful grave Hare, I don’t think anybody else wishes the love of their life to disappear into nothingness” he gently leaned forward and nibbled at his ears.
Briarkit was pleased that the warrior was chill about her little attack. She was even more pleased when the warrior expressed how impressed she was with Briarkit's strength. Not that Bri didn't already know that she was freakishly strong for a kid her age, but she still appreciated that someone else finally noticed. "I have to be strong. I'm Stonepaw's bodyguard." She informed the older molly, chest puffing out in pride. It wasn't well known yet, but she needed to spread the word that she was on the job, to ward of potential stinkers who thought messing with her weirdo brother was a good idea. She wasn't wrestling champion of the world for nothing!
"I'm Briarkit! Though I should be Briarpaw, since Stone is an apprentice, but everyone's making me wait." Confiding her childish frustrations into a sympathetic ear was certainly good, especially since this cat was old and could talk to Pikey and Fawn and whoever the heck StarClan was, and tell them that Briar should be a 'paw, too!
Briefly, she contemplated another attack on this lady's tail, because one, the lady didn't tell her that she shouldn't, and two, it was of utmost importance that she display her full strength to all who dare consider messing with her brother. But the ginger tabby settled for returning the favor. "What's your name?" It would make world domination easier if she knew a few cat's names. And on a smaller, less tyrannic scale, it would also make this conversation easier too.
