Sproutfleck look up, kind of surprised to see
an apprentice next to him. She looked so cheerful and
polite that he sighed a sigh of many different meanings,
'Hello, I'm sad, I'm glad for company, I'm feeling thoughtful'
to name a few. He gnawed on a mouse he'd been eating
swiftly. Hunger tore at his stomach from anot eating at all
the day before, being lost in emptiness of losing a loved
one, which he'd gone through quite a bit. It was so long
ago now, but he couldn't help feeling sad some days. It
was natural, it had to be, didn't it? Maybe it was just his
own way of dealing with things. Yes, that'd make plenty
of sense, wouldn't it? He looked up at the apprentice, green
eyes thoughtful and swimming with memories of good
days. "Hello, Daylightpaw. I'm Sproutfleck and I'm
thinking about--" he didn't want to talk about it, not
at all. "Clouds. I had a friend who liked clouds but
he's not really alive anymore." his voice, meant to
sound quiet and polite, turned out to be blunt and snippy.
"Err- How are you... today?" Great, an awkward
question is not a good start. Well, she seemed nice and
understanding enough, right? Either way, he'd rather she
not talk about it.

'Looking at clouds is always nice. It's calming. I do it sometimes too. They remind me of all the things we can do and be. Because clouds always do different things and look different, y'know?'

Falling paw looked around the clearing his patchy white coat bounced off the sunlight as he looked for prey to find so he crouched low his belly fur grazing the soil beneath her looked around with his green eyes till he was a bird most importantly a robin falling crept close to the bird but not to close he readied his self and jumped catching the bird in a could of feathers. the bird was killed instantly and falling paw sat and sighed and went to take it back to the clan

She made her way to the clearing and sat under shade. She glanced down at her paws and narrowed her eyes. This was drastic, not foolish, yet risky. She wouldn't speak upon it though, no matter her views, she didn't want to deem herself unloyal to her clan. If her leader asked her to, she would rip the fur off of any Riverclan warrior she saw, yet.. she didn't feel that this was right. They were being quiet, then leave them alone. She shook her head, clearing her thoughts and glanced around camp at the busying lives of her clan-mates, she let out a purr of amusement seeing Fallingpaw start to pad over to the fresh-kill pile to contribute with their own kill. ThunderClan had nothing to worry about, they were thriving, they had a minor set back yes, but they ended up thriving and rising from the rubble that they were left with. '' Alas, only StarClan know if this is going to be a prosperous decision or not..'' she muttered under her breath.

Riversong wandered through the clearing without a purpose, hoping to find something of interest to ease their bored mind. While debating on whether or not moss was soft grass, the gray cat caught sight of Drizzleheart, a fellow warrior. Just as they were about to bound over, they heard Drizzleheart sigh and mention StarClan. Is she okay? Riversong wondered. Does she mind if I bother her for a bit? Oh no, am I interrupting her private time? Riversong shook their head. Well, I'm already here, so let's see if I can make her feel better. You never know until you try! They walked closer and tapped Drizzleheart's shoulder. "Hi! I'm Riversong. Is everything okay here?"

She flinched before glancing over at her clan-mate and smiling warmly, her ears lowering slightly.
''Oh yes of course, sorry if I worried you''
She choked out, wondering how long the cat had been standing here. ''How are you doing this evening?
That meeting was sure eventful huh?'' She added, trying to initiate some sort of small talk. It was nice having friends around, someone to talk to.
She usually stood quietly in the back, observing the others but that didn't mean she didn't like having friends. The tip of
her tail twitched contently as she waited for a response from her clan-mate.

Riversong tilted their head and smiled softly. Oh, what a wonderful day to meet another cat who is finally like me, they thought. They could tell from Drizzleheart's posture that she was a shy cat as well. "Yes... the meeting" they mumbled. "If I'm being honest, I don't know if I'm going to go to the raid." they said rapidly. Then, hoping that Drizzleheart wouldn't be one of those fight-the-world-for-ThunderClan types, Riversong quickly tried to laugh it off. "I have to make sure our camp has cats in it you know? Someone's got to stay behind so the kits don't sneak out." Riversong glanced at Drizzleheart, trying to see if they were going to get a lecture on how they should attend the raid to protect the dignity of their clan.

''That's fair, I'm going to try to help where I am needed. I worry though what our ancestors think of this.. not that I wouldn't fight for the clan, I'm just curious'' she choked out, before glancing away, her tail flicking. ''But that is a noble enough role as any other, we don't know if any RiverClan cats might try to sneak into camp and try to steal our kits'' She mewed, her ears tilting back a bit at the thought. ''Not only are they one of us, but they are the future of our clan after all'' She added with a warm smile. ''Who knows, one of those kits could be our next leader'' she purred in amusement, her tail flicking back and forth.

Riversong laughed, a sound oddly similar to a burbling brook (if one listened hard enough). They'd never met a cat who'd thought of it as that way before. Have I just made a new friend? they wondered. Purring and smiling, Riversong mewed in agreement. "It's so nice being able to talk to you like this, without worrying about prey and fighting and all of that stuff. Maybe one day in the future we'll look back and realize how meaningful or meaningless this all was."

She let out a purr and nodded. ''All of the clans are to worried bout their own, which is understandable.'' she continued, glancing at the ground before back at them. ''I just hope that they soon come back to terms that they are stronger together than apart.. and I hope that it doesn't take too much blood spilled for that to be realized..'' she muttered solemnly, her ears layed back. ''I trust in our leader though at the end of the day, I trust that they have their clan in mind when making these decisions, its all a race for a safer home, a thriving home, from everyone. Maybe if this forest was bigger it would be a different story''

Riversong mewed in agreement. They knew that they would follow Bumblestar to the ends of the earth, but still wasn't sure about the leader's choice with violence. "Fighting for survival is what sets us apart from kittypets, after all," they reasoned. "But still... wouldn't it be great if all the Clans could live in peace? If no queen had to fear that their kit's first sight would be a bloodshed? Only a foolish cat would say that war brings new hope." All that war brought for any cat was tragedy.

(Riversong doesn't realize they're saying the italicized part aloud, but Drizzleheart can hear it)
