His first patrol ever, and it was a dumb herb patrol? Not even exciting, just picking plants and bringing it back to camp. Thornpaw could feel his ears burning with frustration as soon as he was elected to be on this patrol. Whatever, it's my first patrol, we aren't coming back until we get those stupid plants. Once the announcement was over, the young tom climbed to his paws, swiveling his ears and searching for the warriors he was supposed to go with. He hadn't met either of them, but he eventually meandered over to where Slugbelly was, the apprentice practically rolling his eyes upon seeing the big dumb smile that the other had. "Can we get going and get this over with? I don't want to be out looking for plants all day," he grumbled out, looking up at the warrior with slightly flattened ears while they waited for the last member of the patrol to show up.
Seeing that everyone was here she gave them a fruendly smile before saying, "Alright all is counted for.", she meowed, tail flickered happily. She disn't want anyone to get in trouble.
Where were his patrol mates? They had been sitting here and waiting and there was no sign of any of them. Anxiously he shifts from paw to paw, gaze sweeping across the clearing in search of any of the other three...

After a long amount of procrastination, Vulturefang finally got up and pulled himself beneath Shadowledge. He wanted to complain, but he knew better by now. Ugh... Might as well get this crap done and over with. He'd make it short and sweet and get out of there. Clearing his throat half heartedly, he began.

Already mentally exhausted from that speech, he stepped down and stood off to the side. This was all so repetitive... Whatever, at least he knew this whole process by heart. Ugh... Let's just get this over with.
His attention shifted towards his name -- which the deputy managed to casually forget. How appropriate for him. The thought crossed his mind, but those stoic green eyes didn't change. The Enforcer rose to his paws and padded over, finding the first of his patrol. A yawn escaped him briefly before he spoke, "Alright, let's get this over and done with, shall we? We'll be leaving momentarily if Ashpaw doesn't show their face."

Batflight sat beneath Shadowledge, listening to Vulturefang's assignments. Luckily for her, she was first on the list, so didn't have to pay attention for too long - while Vulturefang continued down the list of tasks, Batflight looked around for her patrol partner. She didn't spot Moonrunner in the group of cats. Maybe she was out hunting?

Eventually, Slugbelly has to sigh. They've waited long enough to get started. "C'mon, Thornpaw," Sluggy says with another grin, "we can't wait forever for Darkflame to show up, let's get started!" The large ginger tom stretches as he stands and begins to lead the way out of camp and into the territory.
