Frostfeather gave the apprentice a warm look as she offered. In a way she didn’t want to end this training as she enjoyed working with Amberpaw. It was nice training with someone who seemed to want to train. Yellowpaw sometimes was- noshe wouldn’t bad mouth anyone that wasn’t like her. |
She gave a quiet smile, even though she still didn’t feel great about it, and backed up back to the starting point. She let out a sigh, and splashed down with all her might, sending a big enough splash to make Frostfeather close her eyes, before leaping at her and slapping her quickly. “How was that?”

Frostfeather felt her eyes close as water showered over her.
“That was perfect! I can’t see a thing!” She purred as she drew a paw over her eyes.
“Your going to be a fine warrior,” she praised.
She turned to pad out of the water while looking back at Amberpaw.
“Feel free to ask to train with me again any time, this was a good learning experience for us both,” she stated warmly.

She nodded, happy that she’d done it right that time, and started to pad off, before turning around. “Actually, I haven’t seen my mentor in a while, and they’re like, my third mentor to just up and leave, so could we train or patrol or something tomorrow? This is the first time I’ve gotten proper training in a while.”

Amberpaws mentors were missing? How terrible she though to herself.
Eyes twinkling she gave the apprentice a nod.
“Yes of course, I’ll gladly train with you. How about we meet up in the training hollow tomorrow and you can join Yellowpaw and I in some battle practice? Your more skilled than Yellowpaw but she has the energy; I think you two could dual after we go over some skills,” she said pleasantly .
