He was gonna show that he was the fiercest warrior in all the clans! By the time he was done with his mock-opponent, they'd fear him for the rest of their life! He would look terrifying! His thoughts sung, as he arrived on bouncy paws. He sat down with a very serious and stingy look about him - for the horror-striking ✨Intimidation✨

Stagheart bounded over when he heard Owltalon's call. He gave a nod of respect to the Lionheart; both her and Seabreeze had already been stepping up in their roles, which was greatly appreciated.

He went over and joined the assembling RiverClanners, eager to get some practice in. With the awful news of some idiots invading WindClan's camp, he was sure it'd be any day now when Twilightstar would be clawing through their camp barrier. They had to be ready.



Berrypaw heard Owltalon's call and her ears perked up. Battle training? She could... try that? Maybe get stronger?

No, fish-brain. You haven't even had any battle training with your mentors! You'll embarrass yourself in front of everyone!

Berrypaw hesitated, knowing her thoughts were right. She hadn't even gotten to learn a basic pounce or swipe yet. Sure, this would be one way to learn it, but... with everyone watching? This was for the cats who were already experienced, wasn't it?

This is no place for you... not yet.

Ears flattened in shame, the dark-furred apprentice backed away and out of sight, feeling a bit sorry for herself.

Mudsmoke listened intently to the Lionhearts announcement. Owltalon was right, tensions between the clans did seem to be rising and war seemed too be on the horizon, which was way to close for comfort. This personally worried Mud'smoke, war meant death and he really did want more of his clanmates or other clan cats to die. Starclans ranks were already too full as it was, he didn't want more cats to join them so soon. Expscially not riverclan cats, his clanmates.

Adding to that thought, Mud'smoke can't remember the last time he had fought or even practice his battle moves. He was definitely joining this event, he was getting rusty and needed the practice. Mudsmoke made his way to the floodstone where some of his clanmates were already gathered.

Sparring? Now that piqued Orchidpaw's intrest. She was naturally a violent cat and so the possibility of a fight made her very eager to participate. Striding over confidently, the young apprentice seated herself near the front of the growing crowd. Heather-blue orbs narrowed into their almost permanent glare she she attempted to frighten any potential victims...or other apprentices to train with.

GarlicFeather blinked.. sparring?… HE LOVED SPARRING!! If his paws would carry him to an event any faster they would’ve because he did more than just bolt over here. Excitement drove him at the idea of a friendly sparr. This was the perfect chance to soak in some moves that others knew well showing off some of his own, and accompanied to that excited train of thought was that he finally got to show others why exactly he was so ecstatic for sparring and mock battles. Because he was simply amazing at them! Dare he say the best? GarlicFeather had to take a moment to sit down and breathe to slip out all his excess energy and get himself more professional looking and less like an overhyper kitten. Not only would this event bonus as great practice for battles to come but it doubled as something to keep GarlicFeathers mind off everything else plaguing his thoughts. Losing his favourite rock.. cats dying.. not sparring in ages.. so many tragic events surrounding him and all this Garlic wanted to do was find the time to do what this event was for, sparr! Getting a firm grip on his excitement GarlicFeather channeled it into the stretches and rolling of shoulders he was doing before seating himself and resisting the urge to curl his claws into the dirt as he eagerly focused his attention solely on OwlTalon.

Minnowsplash picked themselves up from where they were sitting and walked over to the small gathering. Battle practice, huh? Sounded like a good opportunity to get moving again. Be a valuable asset to the clan, you know?
