Hmm, so there were more cats on one side than the other. Songstar mentioning that cats might have to be split up to make it even caught his attention, so he padded over to the right. "So…what is it we do?"

SongStar looked at the kit. "In this game of clans, we will be having battles. We need 'medicine cats' if someone gets hurt." This kit really knew nothing, did they? "You'll see how it works." Skykit grinned. @Whitestarliner

Patchkit, or rather Pumpkinstar right now, looked to his side as Songstar added on to his speech and he purred at her and nodded happily with the clarity of sides and who's what. He was also happily surprised when almost immediately felines started to jump up under the maple tree and it made him smile in glee. It almost felt like he wasn't pretending... like pretending himself, not the game, the game is pretending. He wasn't so sure about apprentices joining as they would have an unfair advantage over the kittens, especially younger ones like Songstar, but maybe there can be a rule where only apprentices can target apprentices... yeah that seemed right.

It was also then that he heard the little voice of a kitten asking what a clan was. Which would've been curious if not for the fact that they were even smaller than Songstar which meant that the kit must be very young and common stuff like that hasn't quite been caught under their paws yet. Which no harm. Pumpkinstar stepped down from the roots to walk over to the kitten, he smiled with a purr before opening his mouth with a explanation which came out more awkwardly than he wanted it to.

""A clan is what we live in... and uhh there's warriors, which are the big cats, and they have jobs like protecting and feeding the clan. And then there's the leader and deputy who lead, and the meddies that heal... uhh yeah, clan! Does that make sense? It'll make more sense hopefully when we start playing but also if you want, you can ask me later about it." Giving the kitten proper time to respond, Pumpkinstar nodded and then padded back and hopped back up onto the Maple tree root.

"One more rule for the apprentices, when we are playing fighting and stuff, you guys can only target other apprentices so that it's fair for everyone! After all we're just having fun!"

As Songstar explained, Stormkit nodded his head, interest clear in his eyes. "Hmm okay…could be fun I guess, can I join?" It did look like a chance to make some friends and have a bit of fun, surely beats sitting around the nursery! Then Stormkit turned his head as Patchkit, or for the moment Pumpkinstar, came over and explained what a Clan was. Oh right! So that’s why all these cats lived together, it was a Clan! "Oh okay, I understand! So…Clans are real then? And we live in one?" Stormkit had genuinely believed Pumpkinstar and Songstar had made the whole thing up for the purposes of this game. He'd probably learn a good deal from this game in fact. He could learn and have fun at the same time!

Stormkit hesitated for a moment as he looked around. There didn’t seem to be as many on the right, on the MoonClan side, so that's where he decided he would go. It wasn’t just that there weren’t as many, Stormkit would often see the moon staring out of the nursery late at night, and it was beautiful! "I'll join…MoonClan." He decided, making his way over to the right.

Creamkit heard the calling of a fun game to play and eagerly bounced over to the fellow kits and some apprentices, excitement visible in her every movement as she stepped to the left. "Yay! Okay, I'll be in SunClan!" she announced happily, humming an upbeat tune under her breath. "Maybe I can be the deputy! Or the medicine cat, but I really wanna fight! I'd totally be good at the battle parts!"

Vinepaw grinned he used to love playing this when he was a kit he listened to the other kits chatter sure he was nearly twice their size he could always help in some shape or form he nodded as patchkit addressed him/the problem that may occur he nodded in recognition he wouldn’t dream of fighting the kits though he definitely had the upperpaw. He padded over to patchkit "So..if you allow me to join would you mind me joining Sunclan Pumpkinstar? ”he asked blue eyes gleaming “Or perhaps you would want a rouge of some sort “he added remembering his adventures of when he was a kit though it was mostly dark and grim filled with lonely nights this game held a special place in his heart.
