Lifting his head from the place he had currently resided in he listened to what Gingercry had to say. I've been needing to brush up on some battle training this could do me some good. Shaking his pelt from the moss he crawled out of the warrior's den peeking his head outside. He saw the grid drawn on the ground and walked over.

Silentkit usually preferred to stay for herself, just listening and watching others and learning that way instead of, you know, talking to others, but even though she was rather young she couldn't pass up an opportunity to learn. Watching would be useful as well, but this time she wanted to fight!

The dark kit stalked up to the other cats and looked around. She spotted Elmshadow, one of the warriors of her clan. She liked him, he seemed much more sensible then their current deputy or many of the other warriors. As her dark green gaze had been focused on the cats over there she hadn't spotted the one right on front of her and dumped into them.

She jumped back and glanced up at the warrior. It was Cougarivy. Not a cat she knew much about, or anything for that mater. "Sry 'bout that" she mumbled and rubbed her nose with her paw. It hurt to talk straight into someone, who knew.

Maggotpaw

Maggotpaw fallowed her Clanmates over to Gingercry. She had nothing to do, why shouldn’t she go and do this game of Gingercry’s? Maybe it would show Dawnstar that she was ready to become a warrior again. Maggotpaw snorted at the thought. Yeah, that wasn’t going to happen. It would be nice though if it did, wouldn’t it.

Needlekit

Needlekit trotted over to the gathering cats, intrigued by Gingercry’s event. It sounded so much fun. Shrewstep would probably want her to do it, so she would. It would be a perfect time to show off the move Ivyoaw had taught her. Everyone would be so impressed!

Needlepaw's dark blue gaze flickered among the small group of cats as she searched for Elmshadow, irritation evident in her eyes.

Another Monday, yay.

Catching a glimpse of gray and black, the pale gray apprentice trotted lightly over to the tom. "Hey."

**Elmshadow**

Elmshadow kept his eyes scanning the cats as more continued to venture over. He was pleased to see Cougarivy though he didn't make any show of it; rather he glanced at Gingercry to see if the father of his mate had picked up on anything between the two of them.

He saw Maggotpaw show up and wasn't sure whether to be glad for it or indifferent. She was his apprentice, technically, but she had also already been a warrior. She'd proven herself with her fighting abilities, her lessons were in restraint and humility, but some practice was always a good thing. He was pleased when Needlepaw walked up to him. He gave her a small smile and responded lowly, "I'm glad you decided to participate."

**Cougarivy**

A barely noticeable bump took Cougarivy's attention from Elmshadow and down to the ground. It was a small kit. For a brief moment she thought she recognized the dark little scrap. Then she giggled to herself, she was in Shadowclan, naturally she may have glanced upon a kit every now and then. "That's okay! Don't get stepped on!" But even as she said it she started wondering what would happen if a larger warrior did step on the tiny kit. Would it die or just be injured? Would it be messy or anticlimactic? Cougarivy shrugged and pushed the thoughts away, smiling as she turned her split attention back to Elmshadow and Gingercry.

Nightpaw's eyes narrow and he looks at the cats around him. He hesitates before challenging anyone. He'll likely regret it, so he waits for someone to challenge him.

Vixenpaw pricked her ears at the call, heading towards the gathering cats. Extra battle practice could never hurt, especially since it was nearing time for her assessment.
