She finished eating. Russetpaw honestly couldn't be bothered to eat these days, always ignoring the constant soft pain in her stomach. She knew she was hungry, but she wasn't used to being able to eat a proper meal. In a short amount of time, her life had changed. Socializing with cat was one thing, eating a full meal was a whole other level. "You can finish the rest"

Flintspirit was a bit bored. He normally could find most anything to do to keep himself entertained but.... he really was getting a bit sick of hanging out with the same cats every day. Don't get him wrong, he loved his family and they always managed to make him smile and laugh and he would do anything for them but sometimes.... well...
He just needed his own friends.

Flintspirit hadn't had his own friend group since he was a young warrior, which was a long time ago and really said something about him.
But today he was aiming to talk to a few new cats. With the status he had held and the cat he was now well... making friends was hard, because of how many cats saw him as a traitor, a failure, a dork, and well.... more negative things that he wouldn't say in his head or out loud because his mother had raised him well.
Taking a deep breath, the tomcat looked around to see if there was anyone who seemed to be alone and chilling at this time of the day like he was. It was early evening, and the cool leaf-fall weather was moving in, but not harshly quite yet. It felt nice, and Flintspirit was looking forward to leaf-bare. Maybe he could talk about that, how much he loved leaf-bare. If he found someone to talk to, that is.

Berrybounce fawned over a emerald-green caterpillar as it began its ascent up her paw, giggling heartily. It seemed that they enjoyed the crisp weather. Her loopy thoughts trailed off- like the crumpled leaves as they fell. They strayed from her. The leaves fall, and the baby cat-bugs eat leaves? Right? Munch munch munch. She sighed in amusement, blowing a raspberry at her critter friend. Despite her wildly extroverted behaviour...she didn't have many friends. And by not many, she meant practically none. This was mostly because she annoyed the will to live out of most cats, and scared off the others. There was Doe-doe and her Wolfie. And then her large collection of missing and deceased comerades. She really did need...
So that was when she came to a conclusion. The most wondrous, fantabulous, splendicious conclusion the clans had ever seen.

She needed more friends.

Normal cats would have been disgusted by their lack of social life. But not Berry. She was...unique. Different. Berry saw an opportunity. A wide grin stretching across her maw, the cream and grey molly jumped to her feet, scattering the crunchy leaves and her caterpillar friend.
"Sorry mister cat-bug, I'm off to find friends. The cats that give you bubbly, fluffy fabulous feelings! You'll have to learn to give warm fluffs, mister. Maybe my new friends can teach you how. See ya!" Bounding off into the milling crowd, she began her quest.
She grinded to a halt as she avoided a group of no-gooders. In the hot minutes her quest had lasted, she had found no one. Her Wolfie was probably out on a patrol, and her kits were annoying. They just wanted milk and attention and they never did anything fun. She would teach them, sooner or later. Lost in thought, a squeak escaped her as she slammed into a large, multicoloured pelt. She recovered rather quickly, not wasting a breath before rattling away at the tom.

"Ohgoodnessgraciousholystarswithmoonsontop- I broke your fur! It was so beautiful and now it has a me-shaped mark in it. Sorry mister! You know I can probably fix it but I could also not fix it for you, I could un-fix it if you wanted. I'm confusing, but you're confusing too. Like, how do you fit all those colours on your pelt? Do they wash off in the rain? They have to! They look so breakable. Oh, I'm rambling. Sorry mister!"

Ah to be young and in love.... Couldn't be him though. Lightbubble loved love stories and drama and all of that stuff, he was a matchmaker for a reason you know, but nothing fun had been going on lately. He was currently in the process of trying to find Stonefang a match, bless that cat's soul but he seemed just as messed up as Lightbubble was, so the tom knew it was going to be a little bit harder than he had originally thought.
But Lightbubble needed some action going on. Life was boring, even grooming himself to perfection had gotten boring, and that was saying something, because Lightbubble loved grooming himself. So yeah, he really was in a dilemma.

Shaking out his pelt, the tomcat glanced around to see if he could just spot anything interesting going on. Maybe shove himself in an impromptu love story that could possibly be happening right this moment. He just needed something.
