Birchpaw seemed to be quite worried about being late, could prove a useful thing in the future for deadlines and stuff, but it was his first day as an apprentice so Sunburst really didn’t mind. "So there’s a few things we need to cover, plus a few extra experiences you need." He began. "Fighting, hunting and rabbit hunting…" Although those last two got him thinking, "I’m really not sure why rabbit hunting is separate from regular hunting though."Sunburst! Stop before you lose focus again! He told himself. "Anyway, I really don’t mind whichever one you want to do first! Anything you wanna try first?"

She smiled at Kestrelpaw before stepping outside the den, waiting for both cats to follow her. The sun was shining brilliantly, making the sky contrast with it's odd light blues and whites. Huh. Buttercup quite liked the outside of camp.

"Of course!" Sunburst said, not that he was exactly great at it, but he could certainly show Birchpaw the basics of hunting. "Hunting sounds fun! I think I know somewhere there’ll be a lot of prey, we can practice a bit over there, c'mon, I’ll show you a few hunting tricks!" He definitely wasn’t the best hunter, but he was still looking forward to it. Taking a few steps out of the den, he waited for Birchpaw before leaving.

Rabbitpaw woke up early in the morning, early even for the early riser. He blinked blearily out into the still semi-dark space that was the apprentice den at this early hour and then after letting his brain catch up to the rest of him Rabbitpaw rubbed a paw at his eyes. Why had he woken up? Rabbitpaw was pretty good at getting up around the same time but it was never this early? That was when sounds finally started to fully register in his mind and the sounds of movement made him turn his head. Oh Vinepaw. Rabbitpaw watched the other as he twitched and kicked and Rabbitpaw had a feeling it wasn’t a good drama like chasing rabbits.
The older apprentice sighed and started to pull himself to his paws to walk to Vinepaw’s nest to wake him up. Though when he finally came in front of the other tom and reached out to shake him gently, Vinepaw shot awake and Rabbitpaw reeled back a bit from the suddenness. It didn’t seem that Vinepaw realized Rabbitpaw was there, oh dear hopefully the blonde didn’t scare him. “V-Vinepaw? Are you alright? Sorry, I came over to wake you up, didn’t seem like a pleasant dream.”

He stared at the blonde apprentice he tried his best to nod it hadn’t been a pleasant dream..why’d it always have to be about his dad..”You are correct it..definitely wasn’t a good dream..say um have I ever told you about my dad..?” he asked while trying to keep his fur flat ever since that night things had never been the same. “I can sorta keep my anxiety away during the day but at night..not so much..” he sighed
