[To clear it up, this was referring to the patrols Shade sent out and got reports for before Cougarivy's patrols. The reports he's already given Dawnstar lol, so it's an idle threat as far as I'm concerned]

As the black and white she-cat made to move away, Shadefrost's voice stopped her again. Her blue eyes rolled exaggeratedly as she turned around to face the warrior. This tom was a growing headache. She didn't hate him and tomorrow likely wouldn't remember him but for today the constant ups and downs were draining and boring. And now he was just being dense. "You sent out your own patrols, or are you saying I'm crazy now? I never got those reports on how the borders were looking. A convenient little slip of your mind, I guess. I'm not going to get into a boring power struggle to get them out of you, but they better get to Dawnstar. I don't give two rat tails about your hunting patrol, I can use my eyes to see how that went." Though the tom's cavalier tone and short, unhelpful answers were surely not helping Cougarivy's impressions.

The pre-emptive patrols around the territory proved enough that now was not the time for cats to be wandering about the territory alone so Elmshadow begrudgingly abandoned his scavenger hunt plan and moved instead to the patrol place. It'd be a lofty ask that he'd be putting out to replenish the stocks that were growing old. It only increased when his mate made a comment about needing to send out patrols. It wouldn't be the first time Elmshadow had sent out border and hunting patrols so he offered to take it all over for the day. He sat down, mentally preparing himself for a near empty camp. For just such a reason, he decided he wouldn't ask any of the enforcers nor Dawnstar as there would need to be a deal of protection left in camp.

Spiritpaw arrived for the patrol, long fur brushed over one eye and the other a blue spark as she looked around for Grapevine. She didn't know who, like, anyone else was so for now she'd just search for the famous one.

Dogpaw had been sitting in the clearing before he turned his attention onto his father who walked over to where patrols were given. Dogpaw was tempted to get up and ask Elmshadow to let him be on one after his father called them out. Though the apprentice didn't have to do that when he heard his name be called on a patrol with his father and a few others. Dogpaw stood up and walked over to his father and stood next to him staring straight ahead.

Hawkbite listened as the patrols were given. Elmshadow was entrusting him to lead a patrol. Good. The ambitious feline felt as though he should lead more, but he wasn't going to get cocky about it either. He turned his frame to await the patrol to come to him. One happened to be Snakewither, perhaps this was a good way to get the tom out and about more.

"Snakewither, Sweetpaw, and Pudgesprout, here!" The tom called in case the others didn't know who he was.

Aha! A patrol! And Starrypaw was totally leading it! Prancing over on feather-light paws, the black and white molly immediately set about, looking for her numerous patrolmates. "Hello, hello! Time to go on patrol, time to go!" Grinning widely, Starrypaw blinked a couple times.
