Falconfeather rolled her eyes. So Dawnstar had forgotten to apprentice a cat, who cared. And then she got mad at the kit, as though Berrykit was to blame for the leaders' forgetfulness. "Dawnstar, aren't you forgetting something? New apprentices need mentors." Not that she wanted to be one. If she ended up with a stupid 'Dawnstar is the best' kit, she might as well shred them before their first lesson. No one could replace Tigerpaw, it just wasn't possible. The orange and black molly had been her best friend, and now she was gone.

Dawnstar growled but appeared satisfied with Berrykit's response. "From this day forth, until you receive your warrior name, you'll be... Meadowpaw [ @poppy. ]." Dawnstar meowed, changing the kit's name completely. ShadowClan already had a Berrypaw and Meadow fit the apprentice rather well. Soft and easy to trample. Dawnstar doubted Meadowpaw would last long here, let alone reach warriorhood. But it was always interesting to be proven wrong.

She shot a pointed glare at Falconfeather as she stated the obvious, no duh! "Falconfeather [ @Pheasantflight ], since you're offering yourself, you'll mentor Mosspaw [ @windtail ]." Her words came out in the form of a warning growl, Dawnstar really didn't like being reminded of stupid things that she already knew. It seemed like Falconfeather was purposely trying to get a rise out of her. The warrior could dislike and hate her all she wanted, but if she wished to join her former traitor of an apprentice, then by all means continue pissing off the moody clan leader.

"Badgerscar[ @Angelique ], it's time you've taken your first apprentice. Show me what you can do with Cottonpaw [ @Leafí ]." She was still a bit thorny every so able to hold a grudge, but it was clear that she was attempting to appease it by giving the tom an apprentice. Staying mad at the tom forever was going to cause a rift in their relationship and Dawnstar only had a few cats she proclaimed her family.

"Shadestripe [ @Singing Jay. ] try and make something out of Meadowpaw." Dawnstar noticed that tom seemed particularly attentive. It seemed right to give him an apprentice to train. Maybe he'll prove useful.

"Stemhop [ @Zesty Mango ], I'm glad to see that you're taking some initiative with the clan. I'll give you Sandpaw [ @WinterRabbit5350 ] to mentor." She made it sound like a reward, but it was simply another test. Very few cats actually make it to warriorhood, she wanted to see what these mentors could do.

"Maplepaw [ @littlelove ], Sparrowpaw [ @Caramel ], Rabbitpaw [ @Sky13 ], Antpaw [ @Clovershade ], Cinderpaw [ @Dizerel ], Juniperpaw [ Pheasantflight ], Whisperpaw [ @Papaya ], Sparkpaw [ @Ziera ], and Frostpaw [ @MooingPanda ]. Some of you have recently returned others you're mentors have disappeared... again." In all honesty, Dawnstar was wondering if she should take on some of the older apprentices and finish up their training. She didn't actually have a lot of time nor faith and trust in any apprentice that would be hers, but ShadowClan could do with warriors. She supposed she should try and experiment with one at least.

"Embershadow [ Mooingpanda ] you're with Sparrowpaw. Smokemoon [ @~Fierceclaw~ ] you have Rabbitpaw. Littlesky [ @Celeste ], you'll mentor Cinderpaw. Shrewstep [ @gs29513 ], I want you training Frostpaw. Splotchleaf [ @Nixey ], you'll train Juniperpaw. Beargrowl [ @finnzel ] you have Whisperpaw. Frogfang [ @feather lily ], Maplepaw's gone through countless reassignments, finish her training." The last one had too much time on his paws, clearly, he needed an apprentice to train.

"Sparkpaw, training you shouldn't take too long. You'll finish your training with me." Dawnstar meowed with an intense glare on the young apprentice. The clan leader was very very iffy about this, but so far those she's grown close to have yet to betray her. Talonstone vanished, that was a betray in itself, but for some strange reason, Dawnstar didn't feel that all-consuming rage when she thought about him, just disappointment. She didn't want Sparkpaw to be another disappointment. This would be strange it's been a long while since Dawnstar gained enough... trust to train another apprentice. It should be an experience for both of them.

With the last reassignment done, Dawnstar wrapped up the meeting by leaving the Shadowledge.

Smokemoon wasn't paying attention much now that it came to ceremonies. There was no need to listen. He was zoning out when his name being called by Dawnstar caught his attention. His ears pricked in surprise as he was given an apprentice. He looked around for Sparrowpaw.

So, he had a mentor, he was now referred to as Sandpaw, and the meeting was over. Wait a minute, if he was thinking correctly.

This meant...

He was offically an apprentice! Sandpaw was insanely excited, he could prove his worth to clan! He was going to be trained to fight for the best clan! Maybe he would even be seen as more cool too! Maybe he could make friends his age and rank! The possibilities were endless!

The now impatient apprentice looked around for his new mentor, Stemhop, wasn't it? Well, she seemed to be a respectful warrior, ooh, what would they do first? Hunt? Battle Train? The young toms mind was now wondering what his mentor would be like!

His head perked up as he heard his name called, shock echoing in his mind silently as he took a deep breath. Raising off his haunches, he maid his way towards Juniperpaw with a soft purr “hi there,” as he leaned down to touch noises with the cat.

Rabbitpaw had heard about Smokemoon from his friends, Frogfang & Fiercefire. Acording to them he was a wimp. "Why you?" Rabbitpaw muttered to Smokemoon quiet enough for no one to hear.

Smokemoon spotted the apprentice and padded over to him. He was the apprentice from Windclan. "Hello! I'm your new mentor! You're my very first apprentice." He meowed.

Embershadow

Embershadow huffed. Lovely. Another apprentice. The last time he'd had the 'privilege' of training one, they had vanished in the first moon. Not that he had really cared. The only positive that he saw was that he could teach Sparrowpaw what ShadowClan used to be and give her a new perspective. Maybe he could gain one more ally. As the meeting wrapped up, he stretched, taking his time. Then, he glanced around for his new charge.

Finally, a new mentor. It felt like ages since he had been training and he knew he was falling behind. His warrior ceremony seemed as far away now as it did two moons ago. He was a bit nervous, however, when he heard who would be training him. Shrewstep was a no-nonsense cat, at least from what he could tell. There wouldn't be a whole lot of time for fun. Frostpaw was determined to make the best of the situation and he padded briskly over to his new mentor. "Can we train now?" he pleaded, wanting to get to work as quickly as possible.

Well... He was an apprentice, buuuttt.. His mentor was none other than Badger'scar. To Cotton'kit he was a roach that crawled out of the dark forest and didn't do a very good job at hiding his identity. He couldn't complain tho, atleast he had a mentor. Sharp gaze roving the crowd, he looked for the scarred tom. Blinking away a wave of dread, he honestly felt somewhat worried, Badger'scar was a fierce cat, and the things he could to a little fluff ball like himself bore into his mind. Oh, good golly.... This shouldn't turn out good-
