Looked simple enough, she repositioned herself as well, slightly away from Goosefury. Maybe they could actually catch more than one fish, she patiently waited, waiting for a silver flash to appear like with Goosefury.
It was odd now that she looked back, was was she so insistent that training had to be one way, it didn't lead to success for her, did it? She kept her eyes dead on the water, an unsuspecting fish had to come soon.

Another swift swipe of his paw and a second fish lay dead beside the first. His whiskers twitched in subtle satisfaction before he turned to glance at Whitepaw. "I'm finished. Once you catch something we can head on back. We're running a little late, anyway."
[Okay lol, White already got in trouble thanks to me going on hiatus so, I bet she'll be happy to return, I'll go ahead and get her catch]

She nodded, and then noticed something. She swiped at the water and...she had done it! Ha, she technechlly got training it via a patrol, that was a new method. ' 'Alright, guess we can go now then.' ' Oh boy, she was happy, seemed as if she was maturing after all, for the better? Nope, but hey, take what you can get. She headed back to camp with her prey in stride, seemed as if her pride was through the roof.
Riverstripe saw a fish in the water and flashed out a paw in an attempt to catch it but failed @Swiftstripe

Smiling softly at Riverstripe, they let out a soft “it’s alright, you can try again,” before looking back at the pond. Taking a soft breath, they kept their shadow from dancing over the water before reaching in and flashing a paw up, accompanied by a flopping fish which is quickly killed by Dawnwhisper.
open for interaction takes place right after the raid! // Eventually the warrior found himself at the pond -- having previously broke away from the group. He lacked the need for medical attention. At least, the adrenaline was covering any minor ones. He was sitting besides the edge, cloudy eyes peering into the water.
Was it his fault?
Wormbite didn't know Ottersplash wasn't there. He still didn't know why he was. Last time he recalled his friend disliked violence. It didn't change the fact Ottersplash was dead. He wasn't just missing. He was dead and gone. This was the consequence of war. Wormbite just wanted Thunderclan to feel their own consequences. To realize lives couldn't have been replaced but, it didn't help. It didn't help at all. It didn't remove the fact that perhaps if Wormbite hadn't been there Ottersplash would have survived.
His thoughts thrived off the despair and continued to whisper wrong-doings to Wormbite. A distraught whine escaped from him in surprise, snapping his head up. "Stop, " He groaned quietly, crumbling slowly to the ground. Even now they continued to be intrusive, picking at any situation to feed on.
Blood and poison painted his paws and Wormbite was just.. so tired.
He would be a warrior tomorrow. He would throw away the fact this event would trouble him during the night. He would ignore how much he missed Shimmeringpool and how loss he felt at this point. He would allow the numbness to consume him and do whatever was asked of him. For now? Wormbite allowed himself to feel bad for once.
And then he would slip into the pond. Allowing the cold water to make himself feel alive again. It soothed his sore limbs and aching thoughts.
Wormbite washed away the blood and made sure the poison no longer coated his claws before dragging himself back up on the bank. He laid there for what seemed to be an eternality.

Silently, they encouraged the cat to get the fish they were going after. Shuffling their paws lightly against the ground as Dawnwhisper watched.

Splashleap wasn't about to let her patrol be the last done, so as soon as she had located one of the cats coming with her she turned to head out of camp. Maybe she should have waited for Orchidpaw to make herself known, but she really didn't have the patience. It was a vice to be sure, but she had no intention of waiting about for an unseemingly long time THINKING. Nope, no unnecessary thinking. Even on the walk to the pond she kept herself distracted, predominantly by fishing a few cobwebs from a dead tree and slapping them over her shoulder and paw. It was a bad example to set, not going to see Snakeheart, but she didn't have time for good examples right now. The clan needed prey.
You do both know how to hunt, right? she inquired, not turning around and instead settling herself by the edge of the pond. If they didn't they should speak up now, if not they could get to hunting. She was quite serious about speaking to mentors, it seemed half of the apprentices got to almost warriorhood without learning the most basic of skills. Maybe she should call all the mentors together and get a progress report on their apprentices? That might not be a bad idea actually, then they could figure out who might need extra help and who might soon be ready for an assessment. She should definitely mention that to Kestrelstar, once things had been put a bit more to normality.
