The tortie glowered at the larger she-cat through narrowed eyes. Sure, she was weird, maybe kind of stupid. Definitely irresponsible and impulsive, but she didn't appreciate others pointing it out! Still, the molly held her tongue. She knew it wasn't the time and place to argue.
It seemed as though a massive weight was lifted from her shoulders when the she-cat accepted her into the clan. She breathed a deep sigh of relief, her serious expression softening a bit. "Thank you," she meowed with a bow of her head. At least she had concepts of a plan for the future now, instead of constantly worrying about what was next. She'd be safer now, and her own safety was always her biggest concern.
Her ears twitched slightly as the larger she-cat asked for a name. Her name? The one her twolegs gave her long ago was Princess Toadstool, but she was never fond of it. Her kittypet past was far behind her now, it was time for a new start. "My name's Toad," she replied. It was a strange nickname, but one she rather liked. She thought the contrast between a pretty young cat and her unappealing namesake was pretty funny. It still had hints of her kittypet past, but more warrior-like. At least that's what she thought. These cats were always named after nature and stuff, right?
[ I was thinking of Spottedtoad as her warrior name for the future if that's okay! ]
[ @Undertaker ]
Toad? Seriously that was her name. Interesting. "You're young enough to pass as an older apprentice, but considering you're having kits calling you an apprentice will stirrup trouble I don't want to deal with. So you'll be given a warrior name, Spottedtoad." It was rare that Dawnstar turned what she'd consider a prefix into a suffix for a name, but it worked here.
"To make things very clear, once your kits are weaned you'll join my clan's apprentices for training. You will be treated the same and have the same restrictions as an apprentice namely you're not allowed outside of camp without a warrior, and the same goes when you're in the nursery. Until you've learned how to be a proper Clan cat you'll be supervised anytime you're outside of camp." She told she-cat and then signaled she should follow her.
[You can submit her as a queen in ShadowClan if you haven't already. She'll be introduced to the clan at the current meeting.]

Reason for Joining: seeking another clan after the devastation of their own
--
At long last, she found the border to the unknown Clan's territory. Her paws ached from the seemingly endless journey, and she let herself feel a twinge of relief.
It had been many. many moons since she's found another Clan. It was weather just like the one today that spelled the eventual downfall of her late Clan: a gradual demise that left only her by leaf-bare. It was still quite a sore spot for her, a wound that never -- and may never -- heal quite right.
Neither here nor there... It was time to focus now. Her gut was telling her that she was in danger and she needed to remain on high alert. If this Clan was anything like her old Clan, she needed to stay as vigilant as possible; else she might not make it to try her luck elsewhere.
Taking another step, her stomach sank the closer she got. Her dusty grey fur fluffed out, hackles slightly raised in anticipation. Bonedancer took a deep breath, inhaling the heavy scent of pine mixed with mud, and crossed the semi-fresh border marking. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too long before she came across a Clan cat...
[Before I reply here with Dawnstar, I need some information on this former clan Bonedancer was in, it doesn't sound like she was apart of WindClan, ThunderClan, or RiverClan.]

(I have a plot for this kitten in the future)
Near the Shadowclan border, a soft tiny kitten about the age of 3 moons was crouched down on the soft grass. Her fur was brown from her whole body but she hand tiny black spots all over her body as well....but...she didn't have eyes...and where her eyes should have been was blood. The tiny she-cat let out a soft whimper, she couldn't see and she was quit hungry. She was left to die due to causing her brother's death. But did it matter? She was the runt, she wasn't meant to survive anyway. "Help." she meowed softly.
@Undertaker
[So Dawn's likely to yeet the kitten further into the outskirts or kill her.]
Dawnstar was drawn to the sound of mewling at the border and came across a broken-looking kit. She was small, looked half dead, and was bleeding. Dawnstar had nothing against blind cats or small cats, but blind, small, injured cats, well that was a different matter entirely. She hated wasting time, energy, and herbs on cats not a part of her clan.
"Poor thing, if you were looking for help you should have stumbled upon a clan that gave dung about your life." Dawnstar hissed irritated that she was stuck dealing with such an inconvenience. "I'll help you die, hairball, that's about it."

Reason for Joining: His family had gone missing, but Palehound had mentioned the clans to him before. So, he's here seeking a spot within the clans in hopes to run across her or find answers as to what happened to her. Also, this might be Nightshivers future husband don't tell her.
--
There wasn't much that got him worried or anxiety-ridden, but walking up to the border of the 'clans' he was told about time and time again made him think. Palehound must've come back to the clans right? He couldn't remember which one she used to belong to, but getting into one of them was better than none of them when it came to searching for answers. Their kittens had grown up, went missing, or went on their own adventures, so it was time for him to find his mate -- or simply a place to settle down. He was middle aged now, reaching those older moons and knew as more time would pass, he wouldn't hold up next to the shore. It was brutal out there, but he had always made it work. Surely, this knowledge was good enough to get him in, if he even needed it.
There must be a marker here, because the scent was strong. It was musky, hidden in the marshy grounds of the territory around him. He'd have to be careful; this wasn't the same as the sands he was used to treading on. He sat down, masking the anxiety as he waited for someone to approach him. He wouldn't go wandering, he was smarter than that.
"My, my, you're older than the usual cats I get." Dawnstar strolled out of the shadows and peered at the tom waiting at her border. He was careful not to cross it which made her assume he had some knowledge of the clans. The easiest way to get on her bad side was to trespass or steal her clan's prey. The heavily scarred, monstrous-sized feline sat down a good tail length from the border and scrutinized the cat with the small suns she called eyes.
He didn't smell hostile, but he didn't seem calm either. He didn't look like a kittypet but his looks could be deceiving. Curious, and eager to return home, she got down to business. "Who are you, what's your story, and what do you want?" The last one she knew the answer to but one of these days it might be something different so it didn't hurt to ask.

(i've had this cat for a little while now so i decided to intertwine her previous history in with this one. Their origin clan is called "ThistleClan"; it's an original clan of a friend that isn't on this website. Since the clan doesn't have any ties to this website, where it is geographically is incredibly, incredibly far. I think the plan was just a little short of a year of travel to find the Clans. I'm not sure what info you want so i'll add some tidbit below:
- the environment is fairly similar to ShadowClan's, with less boggy areas
- the cats in the clan were very clan-like. It was extremely high tensions where you were constantly watching your back. There were a lot of murder plots LOL
- the scent from them is fairly faint but smells like wet undergrowth
- not sure if i'm going to implement in RP but they have an accent that the Clan cats don't
I can provide more info if needed but that hopefully answers any possible question :) )

A colossal figure appeared out of nowhere and Shark's fur stood on end as he looked slightly upwards at her. She kept a distance, good, because he was ready to run if he needed to. However, the first words to leave her mouth made him snort, his whiskers twitching a bit before he'd compose himself once more. He didn't know who this was, but he quite enjoyed the remark. "Well, well, well, you're older than I was expecting to find."
She got straight to business, his shoulders rolling to flatten the unease that caused his fur to stand on end. "I'm Shark. A traveler. Come from the oceanside and a distance down the coast. I met my mate, Palehound, by the ocean. She told me of the clans since her family, I think his name is Snakefang, was from here. I come to seek a spot within them, maybe search for her or find answers of where she went," he hadn't seen his mate or kits in moons. What if they had come to the clans and he just didn't know it? That was the best case scenario, but he couldn't leave his hopes up, he knew that.
"Also, let's be honest. It's hard to live out there alone and you've already addressed it, but my age keeps increasing. Being a part of the clans seems logical for sake of living. I can provide knowledge of the ocean life, swimming, fishing, whatever you want. Even learned how to burrow some in the sands and make structures in it because the weather is terrible by the ocean," Shark offered. His tail tip twitched with anticipation, eyes searching her form for any break of emotion or que. If he was about to be run off, he would be ready to move quickly.

Talon slowly approached the Shadowclan border, their heart was going a million miles an hour. They began to pick up the pace, their paws feeling heavier than ever now that they were so far from their old home. Their fur stood on end as they tried to calm their nerves, the sounds of the leaves under their paws not helping them keep their composure.

[Okay, so unless you've got Staff approval, I'm pretty sure your backstory isn't going to work. Clans and big groups outside of the main four aren't allowed without an okay from staff for backstories. I'd send in a ticket and ask about this.]

Shark? A traveler and Palehound's mate? Dawnstar didn't recall Palehound saying anything about a mate. She was still trying to recall when the she-cat had the time to get one. She hasn't seen the cat in some time, unfortunately. However, she wasn't with this Shark tom and it sounded like he hadn't seen her in some time either.
"Pity, Palehound isn't here. I haven't seen her in a long while, neither is Snakefang. However, I am interested in your knowledge. I don't have many who live so close to the ocean come here, cats more attuned to water and beachs settle in RiverClan." Dawnstar replied, tipping her head. She didn't think she'd mind keeping the tom around and he could always find a new mate within ShadowClan.
"What's Palehound taught or told you about the clans?" Dawnstar started picking his brain right now. Outsiders rarely understood the concept of loyalty, and Dawnstar didn't need the tom running off to RiverClan if he got it into his head that he was more at home with the cats of the water. She was going to be very pissed if she took him in, he wooed one of her clanmates, and then the pair rush off to RiverClan. Unlikely but it happens.

It was getting cold. The frogs would be no more soon enough and ShadowClan would have to start relying on other prey to get them through the leafbare. The she-cat felt the chill as she wandered through the drab forest, her coat growing thick to combat the cold.
The rustle of leaves drew her ears towards the noise and eventually her paws followed. She slid out from behind a withering bush and peered at the cat sitting along the border. "What do you want?"Dawnstar asked tone clipped and tail lashing. Her lips were pulled up exposing her large fangs as she approached the cat, stopping a tail length before she reached the border.

RiverClan...?
Maybe that was the clan his mate had come from. He had to really pry at his brain to pull the information out, but he couldn't confirm nor deny the relations. It'd been too long, and the information hadn't been relayed enough for him to set it in stone in his mind. His tail tip twitched as he pondered on that for a moment before he'd let out a silent sigh. "We hadn't spoken too much on it. Just that she'd left her home and wandered until she stumbled upon my den a last leaf-bare,"Time flies...
"She wanted to come back to the clans to raise our kittens, but she and a couple of the kittens have since gone missing. Said it was safer here. Didn't realize there were multiple clans, but I can learn," he thought aloud. The last part of that statement sounding more distant. "She said it was like a larger family, protecting each other, providing for each other. I never thought I'd be the one to finally give into that, but the luxury sounds nicer than the harsh reality of living on my own. If Palehound had taught me anything, it was that having a bond to others is much nicer than being alone. I'd give it all up to find that bond somewhere again... I am giving it all up."
Honestly, he didn't know much about them. It was obvious and he didn't care. He knew this was going to be a learning experience regardless of how familiar he could've become. He would do the work though. He would find his place here. He was determined. Shark wasn't dumb, he knew as more seasons went along, he wouldn't be able to withstand the elements like he used to. He knew he'd struggle, but he'd learn.
Name: Salamander Age: 16 Moons Gender: AFAB - She / Her Rank Request: Warrior New Name: Salamanderglare Reason for Joining: Salamander - Salamanderpaw, back then - had chased a butterfly out of camp and fell down into a ditch whenever she tripped on a tree root. She had sprained her hind paw, and had waited for her ThunderClan Clanmates to come find her. When they never did, Salamander had decided to just follow her mother - Sunsplash - out into the outskirts. Whenever arriving close to Windswept Plains, Salamander had found her mother, dead. Sunsplash had been killed by a badger. Salamander had cried over her mother´s body and buried her, letting Sunsplash rest in peace, her grave covered by the petals of an unknown flower to Salamander, since Salamander had buried her beneath a flower bush. Salamander had run into a cat within Windswept Plains that had managed to heal to her paw. After ten moons of taking care of herself, Salamander decided that she would like to go back to Clan life. However, she knew that ThunderClan wouldn´t take her back, so she´s decided to try her luck at joining ShadowClan´s ranks.
Salamander
Outsider, Formerly ThunderClan a fluffy, pretty calico she-cat with ice blue eyes and a full black tail.
Salamander came to a stop at the border and sat back on her haunches, wrapping her fluffy black tail around her paws neatly as she waited for either Dawnstar, Mistlewhisker, or one of ShadowClan´s Enforcers to show. She had lived in ThunderClan long enough to know that each Clan had a council - or elite warriors - that helped out with their Clan´s outsider joining.
Having considered herself an outsider for ten moons now, Salamander decided she would try her luck at joining ShadowClan. ThunderClan wouldn´t take her back, the calico knew. However, Salamander didn´t want to return to ThunderClan. They had abandoned her! Technically, it was her fault for chasing the butterfly out of camp and getting herself hurt, but her former Clanmates could have taken the time to come and find her.
Salamander had taught herself how to hunt over the past ten moons, and she had managed to fight of a fox with some help from other outsiders. They had given her a little bit of battle training. However, if she wished to join a Clan, she´d need to know other moves. Hopefully they let her in....hopefully.

(Talon)-(13 moons)-(Agender)-(Currently an outsider)
Talon jumped in suprise as they heard someone nearby, a clan cat! Perfect! They'd be reunited with their friend in no time! They puffed out their chest to seem confident and powerful. Their eyes darted around to try and find any random bake they could introduce themselves as.
" Hello, my name is uh- "
They stopped for a minute before realizing they were way in over their head. However they took a deep breath and spoke calmly. Their eyes landed on a owl before just deciding to give their auctal name, it did nobody any good if I came up with some fake name.
" My name is Talon, I'm interested in joining your clan, that is if your willing to take in outsiders. "
They were probably the most nervous they had ever been in their life. They adjusted themselves to be more relaxed, they were going to have a rough time adjusting to a clan name, but if they found their dear demi-she, it was worth it.

Amidst the autumn leaves abd under brush, a little past the border, a small parcel of fur squirmed. The little kit didn't squirm often, and usually kept quiet, or was too occupied by labored breathing. It was smaller than most at that age, with thin, tiny limbs. Her tiny eyes were recently opened. They hadn't seen much so far. However, they did see the large shape of the cat that took care of them wordlessly drop them in the soft plant life and turn to walk away. The kitten had tried to reach out but she couldn't move much and her illness made her voice hoarse after a few meows. Instead, she resigned herself to hiding in the plant life. She was starting to go hungry, however. Her tiny stomach was restless and it made her wiggle joylessly. Maybe she could move and nibble on some of the plants, they didn't look half bad. @Undertaker

Name: Banana Bread
Age: 3 weeks old
Gender: Male
Rank Request: kit
New Name: Either Banana Bread or Bananakit
Reason for Joining: he didn't really have a choice. His kittypet mother died giving birth while trying to get to her mate on the other side of the territories. She gave birth to only 2 kits, but when she was found, only Banana Bread was alive. The mother's last wish was for Banana Bread to live the life she didn't get to, as a free cat. His sister, Blueberry Bread, died soon after.
aight im just doin it here)) Banana Bread was vaguely aware of the world around him. The other squirming bundle next to him had stopped moving. It felt cold. Everything felt cold. But also warm. What were those starry shapes? He mewed weakly to them. They did not respond. He mewed louder. They vanished. Cold. Hungry. Those were Banana Bread's first conscious feelings.
