Grovekit let out a looong groan. She flopped to the ground and lay there, sulking. It wasn't fair that she couldn't be an apprentice yet! She was already almost five moons old, and five moons was basically six moons so she might as well be old enough....
She made a moody face. Then she realized Leopardkit couldn't go either. That cheered her up a bit.
As Moontail heard the news, she tugged on Sunglow in front of her, eyes glittering.
"We can't let that happen... We must at least warn them." She hissed suddenly. "This Bumblestar turns to violence at every turn. We cannot let anymore innocent fall. Quickly, to the border-"
She glanced back at her friend, desperate.

Riversong sat quietly as they listened to Bumblestar's announcement. A flicker of... something passed over their face, but nothing else notable could be detected as they rose to their paws and walked away.
As Moontail heard the news, she tugged on Sunglow in front of her, eyes glittering.
"We can't let that happen... We must at least warn them." She hissed suddenly. "This Bumblestar turns to violence at every turn. We cannot let anymore innocent fall. Quickly, to the border-"
She glanced back at her friend, desperate.

Sunglow watched Bumblestar through narrowed eyes before turning to Moontail, who was tugging on her shoulder.
The golden she-cat whispered in her friend's ear, too low for any other cat but Moontail to hear.
''We have to stay. I have an idea.''

She hissed at the words. "Like hell you are!" With that, the tabby she-cat sprung, aiming to pin down the other cat under her weight. She couldn't do much otherwise, what with her still healing leg, but she'd be damned if this idiot put her Clan in danger.

Clenching the dirt in her claws, she reluctantly nodded. Despite knowing her for a few moments, Moontail could already feel a strong trust. Following another cat's plan was going to be new however...
The queen yowled as another cat landed on her, and she twisted to claw the cat's face immediately.

Moontail's hiss didn't go unheard and Bumblestar's attention snapped over to the pair immediately, pupils shrinking to slits as her hackles rose. Violetfreckle was faster, and for a moment concern swept over her like a wave, but it vanished a second later as she unsheathed her claws and moved to block Sunglow's way to Moontail and the entrance. "You're both slug-brained idiots if you think you can get away with that," she snarled. "Your blood'll be on the grass faster than you can run outta here like the pair of cowardly mice you are."

Sunglow continued to whisper her plan in Moontail's ear, her voice still too low for any other warrior to hear.
''I want to join this battle, but,'' The warrior paused. ''There's a catch.''
''We're not going to fight any RiverClan warriors. They don't deserve to be harmed. We're going to fight ThunderClan cats.''
