Her blue eyes lighting up, Morningpaw nodded excitedly. "I'd really like that!" with Smokepaw's help, hopefully she'd have some cool trinkets to call her own! Spending time with her brother was always a fun passtime, on top of that.

➳ Kestrelwing

Grumpy from a rather cold night, Kestrelwing emerged from the warriors den, parting his jaws in a yawn and stretching each leg in turn. The wind buffeted his short fur and he let out a hiss under his breath. Stupid leaf-bare.

With a huff, the gray tabby moseyed on over to the fresh-kill pile, examining it closely before deciding on a thin water vole. It wasn't much, but it would do for lunch.

He settled down on the edge of the clearing, taking a bite of his prey and chewing thoughtfully.

Gentlefoot came out of her den and glanced over at her fellow warrior. "Lead the way," she said, expectantly and yet somehow managing to sound a little stern.

"Wow, someone seems grumpy today." Goosefury eyed Kestrelwing with arched brows from across the fresh-kill pile. A skinny mouse sat untouched between his paws. "Leaf-bare winds getting to you?" He totally understood - his fur was fluffed up against the cold air, and he really wished he could cover his eye socket with moss or something. That and freezing winds were not a good combination.

Oh great. Someone was talking to him. Glancing up with annoyance sparked fresh in his yellow gaze, he spotted Goosefury. "Thank you for your watchful observation, Goose-blurry," he snorted, not bothering to hide his impatience.

Leaning down to take another bite and swallow quickly, Kestrelwing cocked his head to get a better look at who he would be addressing. "It's funny, you consider leaf-bare the worst of our issues, meanwhile each day brings the risk of more RiverClan death at the claws of ShadowClan," he muttered, a faux lightness to his voice that was an obvious charade . Dropping the act, the gray tabby narrowed his eyes at his Clanmate.
