Smokepaw pricked his ears in confusion as he heard that it was Frogpaw's brother but before he could do anything else, he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder. He yelped in pain and he hid his eyes and his head as best as he could. Then, before he could stop himself, he began crying.

Silentkit had gotten the bug out of her mouth and was now examining it. It looked to be a winged beetle, with a shimmering exoskeleton and six legs. The beetle was squirming, obviously panicked at suddenly flying into a cats mouth and being violently ejected. Silentkit unsheathed a claw and cut off the beetle's head, putting it out of its misery, and picked up the creature and placed it on a nearby stump so it wouldn't get lost for later.

"Oof!" A much bigger cat tripped over her, surprising the smaller kit. Silentkit didn't like confrontation, but she turned to ask the bigger cat what happened, ready to stand up for herself, but he apologized. So it had been an accident. His voice was quiet, like hers. Silentkit wasn't really angry about the accident at all, just startled. "It's okay...You no mean it. I was in way." She looked down at her paws.

Whisperkit blinked his eyes open and poked his nose out of his moss nest. For a moment he didn't quite recognize her, and habitually nosed further down into the nest to hide the tear in his lip, but when he saw it was only Webpaw, he slowly lifted his head to blink at her.

"Um- yeah. Yeah, sure." To be honest, he hadn't actually expected her to ask this of him. He'd figured she wouldn't want help from a kit - especially one that looked like him. He pulled himself out of his nest and trotted over. "Any place you wanted to go first?"

wolfwhisper gazed across the clearing, he had something in his mouth -- a ROCK! not just any rock, oh hoho -- it was a special rock. a true sign of the mysteries within the clans. this was a breakthrough.

the tom caught sight of one his clanmates, nightshiver? he believed was her name. taking a deep breath, he bounced on over to the molly. "mmph mmph mph!" wolfwhisper greeted only to realize ah yes, the rock was making his greeting quite mumbly. dropping it onto the floor, "greetings nightshiver! i bestow upon you to gaze upon my rock, " he grinned, nudging it closer to her.

it was a weirdly colored and misshaped rock that was ... decently sized, a lil bit cracked.

"but i need you to look cloosssserrrr, very close. this is not -- ohoho, this is not even clooosseee to a normall rock, it's very speciaLllllll, " the tom explained excitedly, wiggling his non-existent eyebrows to show how special the rock was.

Choosing a nice, reserved corner of camp to take a break in, Chrysanthemumpaw let out a sigh. The bustling nature of the clearing wasn't overwhelming, per se, but it was much more lively than she was used to.

Boredom filled Twigkit to the very brim. There was nothing to do. She didn't want to play mossball, she didn't want to hear an elder's story, and she didn't want to force herself to talk to a random kit. So her best option was to go up to a random cat in the clearing and hope things worked out. Twigkit waddled up to the apprentice and said in her light voice, "Hi! I'm Twigkit! What's you're name?"

Her eyes opening a bit in surpise as the kit stumbled torwards her, Chrysanthemumpaw couldn't help but wonder why the kit had chosen her to talk to.
"Chrysanthemumpaw. What brought you over to me?" she asked - more like stated, with her unchanging tone - as her head tilted to the side inquisitively.

Chrysanthemumpaw? That was a nice name. It seemed hard to say but Twigkit would manage.

She paused for a moment to think about the answer to the question. It was obvious when she thought of it yet she couldn't quite make out the words. She wasn't great at words. "Well there's nothing to do in the nursery." She said with a bright smile on her face.

BerryPaw Sat at the edge of the clearing, looking around at the other cats. She wasn't the type to approach cats first. She hoped cats would approach her. She looked around at the trees, secretly hoping they were gone so there was more sunshine. She Licked her chest, pushing her fur down, using her paw to get behind her ears. She watched the Kits and apprentices play, and the older warriors talking of serious Matters
(Ack, sorry for the wait, couldn't get to it last night
