"He was your mate!" Lionstar snapped at Sunpetal. Unlike Cricketchirp, Lionstar had little emotional stake in Sunpetal. She was a cat who ditched the Clan without saying a word. "You can't act like I'm guilting you when you're not even telling us why the hell you were around Cattail Pond when you were supposedly lost."

The biggest issue with this was her inability to recognize how awful her choices were. This was far from a guilt-trip, this was trying to weasel out of her why she acted the way she did - why they should even want her back if she had a habit of disappearing she didn't want to explain.

why was she doing this again? she could be chilling with any other cat, but for today… she’d decided that she wanted to hang out with BlizzButt. sigh. she could always back out— she hadn’t started up any conversation with that ol’ meanie yet, and it was super easy to just walk away, right? nothing was stopping her… and yet, spiderpaw still found herself walking over to the maine coon, albeit tentatively. “ah- blizzardkit.” she made a point of adding the last part, still holding a grudge over their encounter those moons ago. the dark-furred apprentice hadn’t forgotten, and she was quite the grudge holder — she wanted to make sure blizzardkit knew that. “how’ve you.. been?” that was an innocent way to start a conversation, right? perhaps calling him blizzardkit wasn’t quite as polite, but she just couldn’t be bothered to give him the respect of being called a warrior. no, no, he’d been too frustrating to her from their former encounters. respect was earned in spiderpaw’s world, and blizzardkit had lost hers.

“okay, let’s get to the point, are you busy for the rest of today?”

Cricketchirp backed away from Sunpetal, the touch shaking him out of his emotional stupor briefly.
"No, I haven't met Hawk."
He shook his head again and faced her.
"Why did you leave again? You were here and then you weren't. I was so ready to forgive you then. To forgive you and forget about it, but you left again?"
Did she even know that their kit were gone? All missing?
Or had they gone after her?
Did she see any of them? Had they been with her?
"Answer him, Sunpetal. I'm not the one to talk to. I don't even know of I can trust myself right now."

~Foxpaw was bored and couldnt find her mentor because she wanted to train but couldnt leave camp without a warrior ~ Man, Where is Fox-Blaze . All I want is to train. I wanna become a warrior all ready!! hmm ~she smiled looking for a random warrior to take her out to train~

Minkfire was, um, well - she couldn't use her favorite word. Nopenopenope, she had to use something else to express her feelings. Happy was an overused word - at least in her mind. BUT in her mind NOTHING could be overused! Everything was...what was the word? Oh! UNDERUSED! Yesyesyes! Happy was underused, but maybe she should try something different...something like cheerful! Or joyful! Plus, happy was kinda plain...as much as the word could be plain - there was just so many other words to show what you were feeling that were like happy but weren't happy. It was a good thing, how many words existed! Quite quite QUITE a good thing! But some words weren't true!

Like, for example, perfect or mean. Mean was...fine, but it was very rude(another bad[not a great one either] word) word. Words words words. Wordsssss were so confusing even the word word was confusing. Why was there so so many of them? So many ways to get confused - she didn't even know half of all the words on the world. Nope(not a great one). Great was such an amazing word though! So positive so cheerful so happy! You couldn't use it badly, cause it was so amazing!

She skipped out of the den, done with her thinking and ready to start the day! This day was going to be a good day - no, a great day. Minkfire could make her day perfect or horrible or good or simply great. You could control your day, cause you were the one who experienced it! She would remember that quote - definitely. It was such a good quote, a cheerful one but not too cheerful - like she was often - and kinda serous in the end. Like, perfect! Great. So. Guess what? Minkfire had distracted herself from her favorite word! And she had a new favorite word - great. Greatgreatgreat!

Minkfire balked as a new cat approached her. He was cute muscular with gold-ish orange and white fur and he had amber eyes! Cool! She didn't have amber eyes, she had gold eyes - one of the perks of being and Abyssinian. "Oh! Hihi! I'm Minkfire, who're you?" Koikoikoi. Now. Why was her mind saying Koi? WHY WAS SHE THINKING ABOUT HER MATE? Though her mate was a-maz-ing, she didn't need to think about her right now. She needed to focus.

What an overly friendly greeting, and from Lionstar, no less. It was almost scary. He'd expect that sort of lovey-dovey cooing to be reserved for Fawnsqueak and Fawnsqueak only. The fact that Lionstar was coming to report to Sootflare was a little comical but he supposed the fact that he had assigned his leader to a patrol to begin with was a little more.

"Very good. Almondpaw's alright then?"

Cardinalpaw groomed himself in the middle of the clearing, watching a bird fly above.

"Right as rain, he just needs some rest."

Lionstar flashed Sootfather a fangy grin. "Am I good to go, Father?"

Sootflare rolled his eyes but couldn't hold back a grin, "You're dismissed, sir."

Cicadakit was BACK and he was better than ever. Lionstar hadn't been angry that he'd broken The Rule! And his apprentice ceremony wasn't being delayed! And he'd caught a caterpillar! Briefly he wondered if any of the other kits of the nursery had managed to get out of camp and catch a caterpillar. They totally didn't need to know that his little trek had completely been an accident, because pfff, Cicadakit? Do something on accident? Yeah, right, as if.

He stood tall in the center of the clearing, chest puffed out proudly for the shortest of moments before he realized with a jolt that anyone could be staring at him, and immediately shrank back into himself and skittered to a corner of the camp. Maybe no one had seen him, and he was safe, and he wasn't going to receive any unnecessary attention. Especially if they were talking to him just to ask where he had gone because that would be a nightmare all on its own. Brrr. No, thank you.
