Streamkit smiled up at her, fluffing up his short fur and pressing close to Whisperingpaw as a cold wind brushed by. Her fur was soft and warm, like his nest in the nursery. Why was there a meeting out in this cold? Excitement at the possibility of earning his apprenticeship or not, he didn't want his ears to freeze off! His teeth chattered as he purred,

"Yeah! It'll be great, and maybe we can become warriors at the same time, too! I'm gonna have the coolest warrior name ever, just you wait!"

Seriously, though, it was was wayyy too cold. For once, Streamkit found himself wishing he had longer fur to protect him. But he didn't. So, he guessed he would have to hope that Owlstar finished the meeting and announcements up quickly so he didn't freeze.

Whispy purred as Stream pressed closer for warmth, wrapping her thick, fluffy tail around him. She felt...a little bashful about being this close to him, but she also knew that it was mostly for his own warmth. "Y-Yes! That would be...amazing." She purred, but a little nagging in the back of her mind wondered...this was the first time she'd ever expressed looking forward to her warriorhood. Something about the idea of becoming warriors with Stream made it...easier to imagine.

"Have you thought of...a-any potential names?" She asked, a purr still in her voice.

Better start where it was most important. "Firstly, Cobwebstorm has been demoted fer threatenin' clan security and enterin' the dreams a Thunderclan cats. Whether it was intentional er not, unfortunately, don't matter within this context. I wouldn't give leeway ta a normal warrior, so she don't get any either." her voice grew pinched as she mewed her next words. "She... Self exiled 'erself, claimin' that Riverclan wasn't safe unless she left. She only left ta benefit us n' our safety. Whatever ya 'ave ta say, ya can wait til after the meetin'." Owlstar was still, admittedly, heartbroken about the situation. She figured the demotion she could handle, it had a good cause and reason, but Owlstar couldn't handle the self exile. It made her chest pang with a guilt that was hard to shield on her face. She wasn't sure if the she-cat was coming back once everything blew over... But she hoped she would.

The one eyed leader then straightened up, squaring her shoulders and facing the crowd. "The coyotes have been delt with, er rather the lack thereof. There was nothin' there when we searched the outsider border." she still wished she could've mauled those mutts like there was no tomorrow, but it was obviously better that there were no predators in territory.

Amber eyes flicked over the crowd. "Eagelpaw, ya've been assigned ta Seabunny [ @/PINTO BEAN ]. As fer reassignments, Featherpaw ta Midnightsplash, Rosemarypaw ta Bitterhive, n' Glowin'paw (Lilacpaw) ta Antlerbranch." she gave her fur a quick shake before continuing. "Snowkit, Ospreykit, n' Streamkit, please step forward, eh chaps?"

Ospreykit bounced out from the nursery, her tail swishing with excitement. She was going to be an apprentice, just like Featherpaw! Speaking of the older she-cat, was she here to witness the ceremony?

Mistybreeze sat by herself, her ears pricking as Owlstar made her announcements. She had heard Cobwebstorm was exiled, but self-exiled? She felt a pang of loss, and she looked at her paws.

Moonpelt sat there, her eyes widen as she heard what had happen to Cobwebstorm. "I didn't think was ...really possible. To self-exiled yourself,"she mutters quietly to Nightweb who sat beside her.

Nightweb looked over at Moonpelt and tilted his head. "That is strange, and honestly quite intresting though it is kinda sad that it was Cobwebstorm though I guess she deserve it." The tom didn't know what else to say so he quickly looked up at Owlstar. Apprentices? This was exciting.

The calico tom's ears perked up. Apprentice ceremony? He watched the kits that were called with envy. "Next moon will be my turn right?"He meows, not to anyone in particular. Patchkit shuffled towards some other warrior's to get a closer look.

Lost in thought, Irisfrost didn't notice the cats approaching her until she heard her apprentice's voice. She blinked, her eyes focusing on Breezepaw as he introduced her to his family members. Astersplash and Cranefeather weren't cats she knew well; she had seen their pelts around camp, but had never really interacted with them. "Good morning," she said to them, internally thanking her apprentice for giving her a distraction. "It's nice to meet you too." She was sure they were good, honest cats, considering how Breezepaw had turned out. Of course, she could be wrong, but if they were troublemakers she likely would have heard something bad about them.

(Cranefeather) “So.. you’re my son’s mentor right? Nice to meet you..” he said attempting to make conversation with the cat that had basically replaced his mate after she went to the nursery. Not that it was her fault, she was probably an amazing mentor but….
(Astersplash) “Breezepaw talks about you so much! He loves training under you!” She said smiling warmly at Irisfrost.
