" yeah, of course we can be friends kiddo." Rateye smiled softly. He was surprised someone as young as Oatkit was willing to ask to be friends, but either way a friend is a friend.

Oatkit's eyes beamed with gratitude as he'd straighten up and puff out his little chest. Turning to his mom he exclaimed. "Mama mama! I'm friends with this cool warrior!" He exclaimed

Wetwhisker looked at her son and purred brightly, "Good little one, friends are always good to make. Rateye is a very cool warrior indeed" Wetwhisker said in a genuine tone. "I'll take you inside in a little bit or when your paws get numb. Just tell me when" Wetwhisker mewed, watching her sons nose for the dangerous, pink color. It was black for now. But Oatkit had a unique nose as half of it was white.

Rateye smiled gently at Wetwhisker. "You have some of the most adorable kits in thunderclan, I hope you know that." He told Wetwhisker with a smile.

Wetwhisker pinned her ears down shyly, "Thank you...." She mewed, her eyes gleaming with pride as she looked at Oatkit. Oatkit gave a nervous look to his mom.
Wetwhisker gave him a small nod, "He asked you what to play, you can answer him honestly." Wetwhisker reassured her son.
Oatkit nodded and mewed, "I like to Play fight, like pretend that your an intruding warrior and I beat you because I'm Oatstar!" He said innocently, his tone getting more squeaky with excitement.

Recent events still weighed on Bumblestar, that much was clear. Hell, it wasn't often that sort of thing happened so publicly, and even if the initial shock had worn off, concern and weariness still settled themselves onto her shoulders. She slipped out of her den and made her way to the top of the Stormcrest.

Moontail scoffed, she was heavy with kits, but she wanted to hear the news. Hefting up her front, she followed up with the rear, and padded out of the Nursery. She found a nice flat spot and sat herself down. Gazing up, she awaited the leader's words.
