They Groaned,They Weren't The Most Social,But They Would Survive,They Caught Eye Contact With BirdPaw,Before Trotting Over To Them,Sighing
Anticipation pricked at the newfound leader's paws. Beansprout felt as if he couldn't leave long enough to go get his lives, not with the recent ShadowClan incident. The WindClan border situation was still fresh in his mind, too, with both himself and one of his hunting patrols reporting strange activity back. The siamese couldn't just sit pacing all day; he had just about worn a path into the leader's den. With a decisive growl, Beansprout emerged from the den and his gaze swept the clearing.
"Wormbite. Nightspark. Kestrelpaw. To me, please." He didn't hesitate in calling out the names of the first few trustworthy cats he saw, as well as Nightspark's apprentice who could probably use patrolling experience. "There has been a bit of strange activity at the WindClan border lately. We're going to patrol it and see if we can figure out what's up. Got it? Good." Without waiting any further, Beansprout headed toward the entrance, looking back at his patrolmates (especially Wormbite... for no reason, of course) to make sure they were coming.

Christ. That patrol took an awfully long amount of time that by the time Wormbite arrived at camp, his pads were aching, and his arm was throbbing. "Beansprout?" He called out hesitantly, his tail lashing back and forth. He didn't want to experience disappointment with his friend again, it was an awful feeling. Wormbite could handle whatever was thrown at him.. but he still sought for Beansprout's approval. "I.. The patrol did not go well. Spirittail disappeared, and there was trouble finding prey. We were able to find something, but understandably we are late. I will perform whatever punishment necessary, and I would like to cover Foampaw's. He appears to possibly need a revisit of when it comes to hunting and as the patrol leader, I should have gotten us here on time. Spirittail, on the other paw, " He scowled, "can handle his own for simply disappearing."
The Dark Lord was situated at the camp's entrance. His long and sleek tail wrapped around his lanky body; misty hues closed shut. Life was minimal; and he felt he could almost drown in it if he wasn't careful. He supposed this was one of his issues. The inability to accept calmness knowing that it was bound to change. Eventually. It always did.
Wormbite jerked up at the sound of Beansprout's voice, eyes snapping opening with slight panic before relaxing. He was simply being called. Rising to his paws, the tom trotted towards his friend. His expression softening, it was nice to hear the other's voice. They've both been awfully busy. Unfortunately, this didn't seem to be under good conditions. Eyes furrowing to form a crease, Wormbite nodded his head. The hell Windclan do to cause strange activity? Unusual - they were always such a calm clan. He sometimes forgot about them.
Without wasting a second, Wormbite was following right behind Beansprout. Maybe a little bit near his side.
Silversnow finally made her way over to Gingerfrost, having missed the call for a patrol for a few minutes. She nodded when she heard about the hunting before waiting for Tidepaw.
Nightspark padded toward Beansprout, his ears perked as he heard his name, what was happening? He sat down behind Wormbite an stayed silent, waiting for further orders....

KESTRELPAW
What was the appropriate reaction when you ans your mentor were being called away to another patrol including the clan leader and his Head Shield? Not one that Kestrelpaw knew, that was for sure. So, she just nodded her head, walking closer.
She tilted her head, ready to receive orders. A check of the Windclan border... sounded like Beansprout had been looking for a reason to stir up trouble. She nearly rolled her eyes, torn between annoyance and wanting to clap her paws over her mouth for thinking something like that. What the hell did Windclan activity have to do with us, other than alliance or dispute? The Windclan Riverclan alliance ended before Kestrelpaw had been born, and it was very unlucky Beansprout or even Pikestar had managed to sew it back together.
Wispwatcher's maw parted in a yawn as he half-listened to Gingerfrost. At the mention of his name he stood, took his time stretching, and padded forward before the deputy. "You got it, pal."
He'd actually been meaning to check out the Sleepy Thicket soon, so this worked out just dandy! Glancing back to see if anyone was joining them, he called out, "Nightmist, Daypaw, you heard 'em!"
Specklemist was the first to report back. Gingerfrost was still a little irked that so few had reported back initially, and it seemed like Specklemist was the only one so far who's gone and reported back their punishment. Even so, the day wasn't over yet. Turning towards the feline, he gave a nod. "Don't forget to report your patrol again. Dismissed."
Is all he said before turning away and waiting for the rest.
[ @~LeafRabbit~ - Remember to have Specklemist drop of their prey here! ]
When it seemed that no one else would be showing up, Gingerfrost frowned. That wasn't good. It bothered him, frankly, seeing such little commitment to the clan from the warriors and even apprentices in it. At least, that's what it looked like to him. "Berryflare, Antlerbeast, Hiddenpaw, Smokepaw!"
He called across the clearing, searching for the felines. "How come each of you have yet to begin your punishment? Either give me an explanation or go do it now."
[ @Buzzin' Bee @Butterfly Aubade @Octavia! @Marksman ]
[ Your character has until Monday June 12th to complete and report their punishment, or explain why they haven't completed it yet ]

Stars, how long had it been? It felt like he had been waiting for Wormbite forever. To be honest, beansprout had been getting a bit worried. A knot had formed in his stomach and was finally undone at the sight of the dark-furred cat padding into camp. He didn't even hesitate before throwing himself at Wormbite, bumping his head a bit too hard against the other cat's shoulder (if Wormbite would let him, that is). As he spoke, the urge to give his friend a hug just intensified. "No punishment necessary." He spoke firmly, backing away from Wormbite before speaking. "Spirittail can answer to me if he decides to come back. But it isn't your fault he decided to abandon you and Foampaw. i'm just glad you're okay. Both of you, of course." Smooth. Real smooth. "If you really want a punishment or something... perhaps you can help me next time the prey pile needs cleaning? It's a tedious and kinda gross job, but I think it would be... suitable for this 'horrible transgression'." His voice was dripping with sarcasm at the words, but the offer still stood. Managing the prey pile had become Beansprout's job, and it would most likely be better if he had a friend to do it with. Plus, it was unpleasant enough that it could be considered punishment if that's what Wormbite needed.
[ → Patrols are due Wednesday, June 14th at 11:59pm CET

Uncompleted patrols are subject to a grouchy Gingerfrost and punishment. ]
Early morning came and Gingerfrost emerged into the clearing, ready to call for patrols. He looked around, sincerely hoping hunting patrols would actually be completed this time around – he might have to start being more severe with punishments if they failed again, troublesome as it was.
[ Optional Prompt: Open prompt ] "Beastflame [ @ophelia ], go hunt at Cattail Pond with Kestrelpaw [ @sol. ]."
And with that done he sat down, waiting for the various patrols to gather and leave.
Everyone If someone hasn't replied within 72h (3 days) you are encouraged to skip them. Try bumping them beforehand, however.
Hunting patrols are required to make a post here of their character putting their prey on the preypile, before the patrol is reported. Failure to do so may result in punishment.
Border patrols are encouraged to make two posts at their assigned border each, one of which should be them marking the border. Failure to do so may result in a poorly marked border.
Patrol leaders (or reporters) please specify if all members were present and participated. Only showing up once does not count.
Apprentices if none of the warriors on your patrol shows up after four days have passed, please make a post explaining so to Gingerfrost.
(Sorry this is so late- finals have been keeping me busy so I didn't remember to post this earlier)
Kestrelpaw had been waiting for a while. She felt like an idiot, geez. Now she was wasting valuable time waiting for Beastflame to hurry his ass up instead of actually doing to get stuff done.
With a sigh, she walked up to Gingerfrost. "Gingerfrost? I was waiting for Beastflame to show up for the hunting patrol you put us on, but he never showed. I'm scared I wasted too much time waiting for him. Should I find someone else?"
