Cedarstrike was mostly quiet on the journey to the creek, taking in scenery and honestly? Watching for predators. It felt as though there was another threat every half moon, which... Was unfortunate.
Once they arrived, however, she scoped out the area before turning to her patrol-mates. "I don't know either of you well... My name is Cedarstrike. Yours?"

As they arrived at sunset creek the silver she-cat took a moment to take in the area. Blue eyes scanned every visible crevice for cobwebs, looking over the trees for moss. It seemed they would have no trouble on this patrol. Her breathing was hard and heavy as the sun beat down on her coat, as excited as she was to get out of camp, it was too hot for her to enjoy it. The creek looked extremely tempting right about now. She was slightly surprised as Cedarstrike spoke, as her patrolmates had been rather quiet on their way here. "I'm Laurelfrost." She answered, more curtly than she had meant to. The warrior chalked it up to the heat.

Snakefang walked silently along on the way, until Cedarstrike asked her and Laurelfrost their names. "I'm Snakefang." She said, "Nice tae meet ye both." As she looked around for a stick to gather cobwebs with, she thought of what was going on back in camp. "Terrible business that, an illness outbreak."
Ah! There’s a stick. She picked it up in between her jaws and carried it over to a nearby tree where the web hung from a branch, and scooped out the web, twirling it around the twig.

"An illness out break is the last thing we need." Cedarstrike's eyes flickered towards a mossy rock a small ways into the creek. Ah! That was perfect. Padding over to it, she spoke again as she stretched out toward the rock; she was trying not to get her paws wet... "I can only hope we'll all be healthy this leaf-fall, you know? With it getting colder and alAGH-"
The she-cat lost her footing, making quite the splash into the creek. So much for her paws. A piece of moss was held tightly in her jaws as she sat up. "..........."

She responded as she found a stick and got to work wrapping cobwebs around it as she held it in her mouth. Her sentiment of something going wrong seemed to be echoed as Cedarstrike slipped into the creek. "Are you okay?" She called, her words muddled by the object in her mouth.

"Ugh-" She gathered the rest of the thick slab of moss from the rock into her jaws before slinking out onto the creekbed. Cedar was... Well... A wet cat. But at the very least, she was cooled off from the crisp water. "I'm okay... I'd just like to go. Lay on a rock somewhere? And dry myself off."

Cedar nodded, scanning over their little haul. "Lets get outta here before I fall into the creek again..." She shivered. Like a wet cat. Because she was one. With that, she turned the way they came and started to walk back, and would continue to do so unless someone stopped her. The she-cat was in need of a good rock to sunbathe on....

Beachpaw -
Beachpaw knew they were lacking on battle training, so they'd gone along with it when Wolfhive collected them for a session.
The walk to Sunkissed Creek was spent already counting down when they could be free to go do something else. And taking furtive glances at Wolfhive's nose area, though they were trying to not be that obvious about it.
It was hard not to look. Harder yet not to ask. The question clung to the tip of their tongue, and they made a gradual hnnnnnnngggghhh noise - growing louder - as they tried to hold it back.
Finally, they couldn't help but unleash it.
"What happened to your face? IS THAT GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME?" They weren't going to say anything but! It was distracting. It was staring them down. Beachpaw didn't want any part in battling, real or fake, if it was going to maim them. The rugged feral look may've worked for Wolfhive, but it wasn't their style. But they were both way too young to be already taking on the appearance of a grizzled old elder who'd been in too many skirmishes.
