Willowtail watched the kits, approving of Daisykit's with a gentle blink, seeing Primrosekit seemed tense, Willowtail purred, "Thats good! Relax a little bit, were all here to learn making mistakes is normal." Willowtail meowed with a small glare at Daisykit, Willowtail blinked softly and gently put her tail along Primrosekit's back, "Flatten it a small bit, your tail should stick out behind you, don't let it go over your back but don't let it brush the ground. You might want to crouch normally and practice adjusting your tail, then you can crouch with your legs properly and until you've got both down, then you can try adding them both. Unless you want to learn it all in one, it'll be harder but I believe you can do it." Willowtail purred brightly, the cheery warrior fondly looked at the kits. "Dasiykit, show Primrosekit how to adjust your paws." Willowtail meowed, knowing Daisykit would be better at it as Daisykit had a wonky front paw.
Daisykit nodded to her sister, purring innocently at the glare. "Ok Willow.... when is Sissy- I meant Berrypaw gonna be back." She asked, reciving a not knowing response from her sister, Daisykit nodded. "Here." Daisykit meowed, using her paw to gently nudge Primrosekit's paw a bit under his chest, "It'll support your front half better while your hind paws equally support your hind quarters." Daisykit meowed, "I have a front paw that doesn't work to well. So I usually do this to keep the weight even, it helps you with pain as well. Your front paw is just gonna be really strong! Which is kinda a good thing!" Daisykit purred brightly, seeing Primrosekit differently, what others might see as flaws on the fellow kits, Daisykit saw as unique and different ways to do things. Daisykit was born a moon early, she almost didn't surive and it took the medicine cats a whole two moons to get her to be able to walk on her own, Daisykit being born early caused her to have a focusing disorder, only able to focus on one thing at a time. Daisykit's allergies were enhanced, she seemed like she had a cold all the time, the one time she had a cold it was as bad as Whitecough. Daisykit gently bumps into things and gets bruises due to her fragile frame as she was born almost severly under developed. Daisykit saw everything as a positive, negatives weren't really in her dictionary. Willowtail was the same way. Daisykit watched the kit and gently placed her paws under his belly, "Hold your back straight and crouch down until your belly fur just brushes my paws." Daisykit mewed, "If you do this then it like........ help your legs get stronger! So you can leap off better." Daisykit explained, she'd done many excersises, needed or not. In order to make herself as strong as a kit her age. Regardless Daisykit still looked, sounded, and felt like a moon younger than she was.

In all honesty Baneberrykit hadn't even noticed Prim's lack of a leg until now. She curiously tipped her head at the place where a nice sturdy leg should be. Whoa. But then she realized it was rude to look so curious at someone's... malfunction and was jolted from her awe by Willowtails question. She didn't know what she was doing buuuuut she could lie and try! "Mhm!" Baneberry chirped, dropping into a crouch with too much weight on her forepaws and her rump in the air. To anyone else the trio would look very funny But Bane found them very legit. She was grinning from ear to ear but then Willowtail corrected Prim and Daisy so The Storyteller stopped twitching her tail. Oh, flatten? Baneberykit flattened her rump and relaxed her hind legs but she was still leaning too much on her forepaws. "I got it!" She squeaked.

Primrosekit blinked in Willowtail's direction and allowed himself to readjust himself properly but in the end the whole moment spent on explaining tail position went to waste. Primrosekit didn't really have a tail like most cats, it was short and stubby, it was just a lot of fur so it looked like it was movable but it was like a bunny's tail, just with a bush of fur on top. So instead of focusing on its limited position because it couldn't really brush the ground or lay over his back, Primrosekit's attention moved to his paw placement. His grey eyed gaze moved over to Daisykit as the other showed him how to do this better with only one front paw. She had a limitation in one of her own, it made Primrosekit feel less alone, though it wasn't really the same fully. Though when Daisykit placed her paws under his stomach and then didn't move away he couldn't help the huff that left his mouth as he stepped away awkwardly.
She was too close for too long for Primrosekit to feel comfortable. He could crouch down by himself he thinks maybe. He could just pretend that her paw markers were still there and then readjust if needed, he just couldn't handle having someone else that close without it being someone he knows better for some reason. "R-right okay." He stood up and then crouched back down into the position again to try and get it right without Daisykit's and Willowtail's messing around with his placement at all. And then repeated the process a couple of times before looking back up at Willowtail for more instruction.

Willowtail blinked gently, watching and waiting as the kits tried it on there own. Willowtail watched as Daisykit stayed close to Primrosekit, "Try it on your own Daisykit, Primrose's got it, and if he needs help I've got it. Thank you for showing him, it was kind." Willowtail purred to her sister gently. Watching Primrosekit giving a gentle purr of encouragement. "Wow, that's good. Lower your back a little bit more, it helps with your balance sense your tail is a bit short." Willowtail meowed, her tone kind and genuine though she spoke the harsh truth. Willowtail watched as Daisykit attempted to do the crouch, she crouched once more. The small kit sticking her small tail out, a bit crooked but hey. No kit was perfect! Daisykit kept trying, keeping weight a bit off of her injured paw. Daisykit nlinked up at her sister, Willowtail watching the kits evenly, nodding coolly to Daisykit as she looked for approval. Daisykit pouting, "I'm gonna tell Berrypae your being mean to me!" Daisykit growled to her sister, Willowtail procceding to roll her eyes. "Do your crouch, and if you want something said so bad, adjust your back and tail, your sticking out like a bluebell"

Floodsight ◆ she/her | 20 moons | Mind Reader ; Beefed Up T1 ; empty slot
She had heard the hawk coming from behind, but Heroneye was faster to react. A peaceful day, just quickly turned into a disaster. Augh, she'd had been careless. It could've happened, and she knows it. It was at the back of her mind, but chose to think positively. She knew something would go wrong.
Nothing ever went right.
Just earlier she had made sure to check for hawks but got a little careless and distracted. And now... they're now in a jumble. If they were back in RiverClan territory, the most they've would've gotten was a few seagulls trying to steal a few nibs at their prey. But no, this was a hawk with eyes on their prey. Theirs.
She looked towards the older warrior for instructions, but they've only returned a worried look. That made Floodsight feel a pit in her stomach. If Heroneye was looking for her to give the correct answer, Floodsight can't guarantee it is right or one Heroneye would want. They could let it go. Let the prey stealing hawk take their fish... or they could take it all. For now...she needed to stay calm.
The answer she chose? Fight.
Floodsight launched herself towards the hawk, clinging on its back. It couldn't take off or fly with a warrior clinging on its back. But it sure can put up a fight. Floodsight had locked a strong bite onto one of it's wings, struggling to hold hawk down. She hoped Heroneye would be quick to act and join in. Floodsight couldn't hold on forever, and she was definitely not letting this bird get away with the clan's prey.
So Floodsight had chosen to fight. Interesting--Heroneye wasn't sure she would have done the same if she were on her own. After all, as much as she hated to waste decent prey, one's pelt wasn't exactly a worthy cost. It was the more cowardly option, sure, but it was also the one that involved Heroneye certainly not dying. Honestly, Heroneye... What kind of a RiverClan warrior even are you? Surely any decent cat would happily sacrifice themself for the sake of their Clan, right? So why couldn't Heroneye just... do the same?
But Heroneye wasn't on her own this time. Floodsight had made her choice, and the hawk certainly wasn't going to let the warriors off without a fight now. The hawk shrieked wildly, thrashing about in a cloud of feathers and beak. Heroneye's gaze drifted to its talons, those terrible hooked claws that made those of cats look like pine needles.
There was no time to waste, though. Heroneye aimed a strike at the hawk's shoulder, still caught in the silver-pelted warrior's jaw. Evidently, it hadn't expected the cats to fight back, perhaps having detected Heroneye's cowardice. She felt her claws ripple through the beast's feathers with something of a surge of satisfaction. She was a Clan cat, after all. Surely protecting her Clan in whatever way she could was her ultimate function, right?
For an instant, Heroneye's gaze drifted to the ground. The hawk had dropped the fish in its rage, though deep talon marks had been indented into their scales--a clear sign of its presence and power that would remain even after it was driven away. Assuming they could drive it away, of course.

'Why is she not helping? Does she thinking this was a useless clause?' Floodsight struggled under the constant flapping of the wings. Feathers fell loose and talons grabbed, slicing into the air. The wing in her jaws started to wiggle loose, but the silver warrior had made her attempts to keep a solid grip on the hawk.
Heroneye's strike at the eagle's wing just felt like a knock on Floodsight's teeth and mouth. A small growl escaped her mouth, her ears flattened at the slight stun of pain. Her dim blue eyes gazed upon Heroneye's own, and...the other warrior had hestitated. Fell back to look at the fish dropped by the hawk. 'No way...she's going to stop for that..fish?'
She felt a little slip on her bite, and fear had started crawling up her paws. With a mouth full of feathers, Floodsight did her best to shout out, "WA-TTCH OU-TT!"
The hawk had wiggled fear and the large wing had slapped Floodsight across her face as she made her attempts to retreat away from it. Half-angered with fear eating away at her paws, she'd cursed under her breath, "Mouse dung..."

She/her || 9 moons || Atari Initiate

Ace sat in the middle of the clearing awkwardly. She didn't know what to do, as it was her first day in the Atari. She glanced around, seeing many cats. Maybe I could go talk to one? After all, this is why she had joined the Atari. But seeing so many cats all at once was kind of overwhelming. She always had had her sister... A pang of grief shot through her. Don't... Don't think about my sister, she thought. She stumbled to her paws, heading to the entrance. She needed time to think.

And her sister acting strange was one such thing among the countless many. Those weird water cat group? And then the other group. Where she sleeps. How slow things have been… the point was, Altair was tired of sitting around waiting for orders, which is what she would prefer, but now that nothing is being given she’ll just have to make her own.
The black and white feline stepped down from under her sister’s den. It was lonely without Nyx over night sometimes. And stepped out into the main area of the family. Looking left and right, yellow eyes sweeping through the limited cats out and about and looked relatively free. “Ace, Squid, over here!” She called out in the directions of the cats respectively. Then with a flick of her tail she continued, “We’re low on prey, we should head out for some hunting.”

Ace stopped in her tracks when she heard a voice calling her name. She turned, seeing an unfamiliar cat. How had the cat known her name? She shook her head. It was probably nothing, everyone probably knew about her joining... Though she still felt like an outcast. She hadn't even really met anybody yet. Which was fine. It was fine. At least she wasn't alone anymore. Ace walked over to the trapper reluctantly. Hunting? She had hunted before. Granted, not very well, as she never had to hunt before... The Incident. She furiously beat back tears, refusing to think of it. She would not show that she couldn't handle herself to this new group. She could. She could. It was fine. Everything was fine. "Okay," she said, trying not to show her misgivings. She'd try this, though she knew she probably couldn't hunt as well as full-grown cats with way more experience than her.

Heroneye snapped back to focus, gaze turning right back up at the hawk. She noticed Floodsight flinching. Right, striking at the bird would have moved the hawk in a sudden and likely painful way. Oh, that was a stupid move, wasn't it? Somehow, she'd forgotten about Floodsight's being tethered to the hawk. Perhaps it was a matter of Heroneye being more used to being on her own, but it still wasn't an excuse. If they'd lost that prey because of her...
But before Heroneye could do anything else, she watched as the hawk tore itself from the other warrior's grasp, beating its powerful wings (in Floodsight's face, mind you). Heroneye watched with relief as the hawk retreated into the sky, apparently having decided the fish weren't worth the effort. Thank StarClan... She honestly wasn't entirely sure what to expect, considering her earlier blunder. But everything had turned out okay in the end, she supposed.
"I could have handled that better. Sorry," Heroneye murmured, half to herself after a long pause. "But, ah, are you alright?" she added suddenly. Floodsight had taken the majority of the brute's fury, after all.
