Pumpkinpaw padded into the training cave her fluffy tail brushing the small salactites and Perchgaze padded after her eyes gleaming. "Are you ready to battle-train?" He mewed confidently, He didnt know he was about to get beaten by an apprentice, as he should, she thought. "Yep All ready!" She purred. " All right, so first i am gonna see how good you are at fighting, claws sheathed" Perchgaze instructed, As Pumpkinpaw nodded They faced battle positions. "Three, Two, One" Perchgaze yowled and they ran at eachother Perchgaze imediatly went for a move that inned her. Pumpkinpaw batted at his underbelly, claws sheathed and turned her back going on her stomach and rolled him over so that she was now pinning him. " Ok you win" Perchgaze panted "Can you actually try?" she teased as she padded out of the cave.
Oh... Thunderclaw! Whoops... Flameheart cast an apologetic glance toward the tom, dipping her head in further apology. It wasn't often she guessed the wrong name, so it was rather embarrassing. Shaking her head to get rid of such embarrassment, the young warrior moved forward and sat down.
"Trying to work on my tracking skills- what about you?" she flicked an ear before stretching her front paws once more, making final preparations to walk between trees and through the forest undergrowth. Today was certainly a good day to track prey! "What are you doing, Thunderclaw?"
"Getting ready for a hunt." He replied somewhat sorely but he was one to forgive, so he nodded thankfully at her attempt to apologize.
The battered tom was trying to figure it out, like he always was, however “it” this time happened to be the shadow on the surface of the water. The large tree was a spectacle no doubt and he had come just to maybe ponder, take a little snooze before it got too cold. Instead he was left more confused than restful.
The sun was behind the tree, he knew that much, but the shadow from the tree did not exactly reach the bottom of the stream. Though it is slightly deeper in certain parts he was struggling to understand just how the shadow wasn’t reaching the bottom. It didn’t make any sense!
The shade could go through the water, just like the sun can you through the water? At least that’s what he figured. The tom took a tentative step closer to the ways edge craning his neck in attempt to get a better view of the whole situation. Why did things ever have to be so difficult? His brows furrowed in intense thought as he studied the base of the shallow section of stream and was simply disappointed when no great epiphany came to mind.
Beastwatcher immediately bounced off to a rabbit he saw earlier, he did his best hunting crouch and tried to get the rabbit.. He succeeded because of his experience with prey... "1 lad!" He said with a grin, running after a bluejay he saw earlier..
SunCloud
He heard the faint rustling of mice in the roots of a oak and
ducked down. He saw leaves sputter up in a trail after a large
mouse racing under the roots. Sun immideitly raced after
and slid his paw under the root to scoop out the mouse.
Then dropped its weak body, and again reached under the
root. He heard alarmed squeaks and his paw pads felt its
fur tickle his paw making him flinch then paw around. He
felt his claw hook its hind quarters and he tried to pull it
forward, it began to shake its fur and SunClound felt blood
begin to trickle.
He hissed in anger and he tried once again: Pulling his paw
back then slamming his shoulder against the tree in attempts
to get his paw further. After what felt like awhile he finally
scooped out the mouse, not as big as its companion but still
worth something. Then he buried the bodies.

Beastwatcher was off trying to catch the bluejay... He was doing his hunters crouch while he was creeping up on it, but then something else caught his eye......
(- A fawn! Without a mother too! -) He thought as he changed courses. He did his hunters crouch but then something happened.. The mother came and Beastwatcher ran away. He went after the bluejay instead. After awhile trying to get it, he caught it, happy with his catch he said "2 lad!" He was still acting like a kit, but he was having fun..

He slowed when he came close to the boarder, lifting his head he might be able
to snag somthing small. But nothing to close. Shaking his head he turned away
and saw a thin vole. Crouching down and readied his aim, he shot out and scooped
up the vole with a quick finishing bite.

The next thing Beastwatcher wanted to catch was a mole, he wanted to prove himself he could catch one. After a hour or so he finally spotted one. He dug the mole up, did a finishing bite and was off to catch another piece of prey, his green eyes looked of at Suncloud. "How many have you caught?" He asked in his signature Irish accent with the mole in his mouth.

Going for a hunt, huh? That sounds fun, perhaps we can work together! Flameheart walked forward from her spot and approached Thunderclaw. She didn't know if the tom, who she just got around to meeting, would be open to hunting with her given they'd never talked until now, but it was worth a shot!
"Would you mind if I joined?" she asked, taking a seat in front of the older warrior before she began grooming her paws and spots behind her ears.

Once the others had joined the patrol they quickly lead the way toward Muskrat Mire, tail flicking as they were in the more humid area of Thunderclan, they hummed lightly, turning toward the others, "Be careful of the muskrats, Tumblepaw you will be with me so I can teach you. Lilacfall you can go where you would like to hunt just be careful. Muskrats can hurt you a lot."
