The large warrior hadn't taught herself a new skill in quite some time. Of course, she made sure to keep her skills sharp and train and practice regularly, but those were the same things she'd always known. And perhaps it was her having two apprentices again after going a couple of months without any, but she had decided to see if she teach herself to fish. Sure, it wasn't the most useful talent, since when prey was scarce the waters would also have frozen over. That and few would enjoy the taste of fish, but it would be a new skill to add and perhaps teach one of her apprentices in the future. Besides, something in her missed training to learn something new. She wouldn't have any teacher, but she had hardly had one during her apprenticeship anyway.
Settling down beside the creek, Hawkcatcher began to search for fish within the flowing waters.

[Roaringmoon, THC Warrior. They/Them]
Roaringmoon, boredom starting to kick in noticed Hawkcatcher..trying tofish?!UGH, really. Fish?!.Angrily, they stomped over, parting their maw to speak before closing it. ‘Wait, that's a good idea, if there's a prey shortage in Greenleaf… Calming down, they.spoke “I think your supposed to cause a wound in their fishy-fur thing (scales), like we would with land prey but don't quote me on that.Wasn't Riverclan.born.”.
Tattered ears twitched ever so slightly at the sound of stomping paws, but the large warrior's gaze was still fixed on the stream at her paws, scanning for other movements. And there it was, the slightest flick of something darker than the rest of the waters, and Hawkcatchers paw struck down. Claws cut through the water, but even though her aim was usually on point and she had predicted the fish's movements perfectly like always, it looked like the reflections in the water betrayed the eye of the fish's location, and her paw swished past it.
Then Roaringmoon, whom she had ignored until now, was beside her, and Hawkcatcher allowed an ear to angle towards them as she glanced in their direction without moving her head. She hardly had the energy to have someone try and argue with her, but luckily the other warrior seemed to have thought better than to start with her.
She looked down at the waters again. Another movement within the creek, and this time Hawkcatcher took into account that the water would attempt and trick her, changing her aim accordingly, and cleanly scooping the fish out of the water, pressing it to the ground before giving it a bite like she would with any other prey. "Hm, the killing isn't the problem, catching them is."
Oh, what a shame. Honestly. An innocent soul taken from a life.
Well, that's what a normal feline would say. Neo, on the other hand, stared blankly down at the body of the apprentice. He even lifted a paw out and prodded the body. It was still warm. Ick. Not his kill, not his problem. Simple.
His bicolored eyes moved to glance around at the scenery. He'd probably get going before-
"YOU."
A growl rumbled from his throat as he whipped around to face the clan cat. A welcomed surprise stood before him instead. Neo's eyes rested on the familiar figure of that Tree kid. "You had me for a moment," Neo would grumble irritably as she approached and examined the body. His voice was too low for eavesdroppers to pick up on. A practice Tree and he had mastered over their sessions.
Now, he had to follow their dance. Neo stood rigid, bristling aggressively as they exchanged quiet words and hisses as the claims that he did it came; all which he denied. Then, she picked up the scent of another loner and excused him. He was almost offended she thought he'd leave such a mess here. His kills and fights were much neater than this, Tree should know better. She was his trainee afterall.

Treetiger could smell the corpse before she could smell Neo. The scent of blood drowned out all else until she caught a glimpse of the dark feline standing over the body of Mushroompaw. "YOU." Treetiger would snap, bristling in her spot. Despite their established relationship, she couldn't let ease droppers assume this. She had to appear hostile and ready to fight. Neo was very aware of this strategy.
"You killed him? Sloppy," the Bengal would hiss before his claims of denial were backed up by the wafting scent of another loner. For once she could take his word for it. He wasn't lying, eh? Odd one from her trainer. "Best run," Treetiger fake threatened him, only to be greeted by amused glimmers in his eyes. He knew she wouldn't do anything unless she had to put on a show for her clanmates again.
A short chase followed suit. Just until he was over the border and disappeared into the brush.
No one would know. No one could know.
She'd have to come back and find him later.
Treetiger returned to the body. A mixture of a strange female and Neo's scent lingered on Mushroompaw's body. She'd have to scope out the strange female sometime. Perhaps Neo would help find a lead on it.
Treetiger grabbed the back of Mushroompaws scruff, beginning to drag him back to the camp.
Ohhh, he was overly confident. One day, it'd bite him in the ass. Today, wouldn't be that day though, so, Neo would strut back over the border once Treetiger was gone. He knew there was a search party on the way. He didn't have to be a part of the clans to predict what was about to happen.
He needed another sniff of this other loner lingering around anyway. There could only be one loner tormenting the clans, and that was him. The black and white tom stalked over to the crime scene, purposefully rubbing against trees and brush as he approached. He made sure his scent stuck, he knew it'd piss them off. Maybe distract them momentarily while he made his escape.
Neo got a decent whiff of the feline's scent then backed away. Time to track them down. His ears would tickle at the sound of a patrol lurking around. So, doing what he did best, he turned and disappeared. He took a path away from where his scent was strongest, dodging undergrowth as he disappeared towards the border.
[Neo has exited the area officially, leaving a strong scent of himself but not covering up the scent of the loner that did kill Mushroom]

The apprentice happily lead the way for the other she all the way to the area. “An’ here we are! Sunkissed Creek!” He announced, which unfortunately may have scared the prey off but that wasn’t a thought crossing his mind. He’d have fun with this pretty she- wait. Wait. What in StarClan did he just think to himself? He didn’t have a crush on her!…Right?
Right?
Why did his cheeks burn and his heart rate suddenly accelerate? No no no no! That’s not what this was! She was just a good friend! Yeah…yeah that’s it. Whew that was a close one!

A general stroll through ThunderClan territory. Nothing like this has ever happened before. No not at all, after all, all the previous High Ranking idiots who took a walk with him alone never came back from the walk. This one will. Tail lashing behind him as he made his way towards the Sunkissed Creek, Bumblestar accompanying him.
"Hadn't done this in a while...or at all. I can't remember. But let's spar. Test of strength." he hummed, stopping once next to a shallow puddle, eyes fixed on the leader. A glint of amusement in them. "I still gotta stop by Springlight when she ain't so busy. So pardon my stiffness, hopin to shake it off by usin you."
If Bumblestar was aware of what Spiderthroat's walks with High Ranks typically turned into, she might have laughed in his face at camp for even suggesting this outing, or felt relief toward the end of it that she didn't have to put him in the ground for some sorry assassination attempt. Unfortunately, she was left unaware, and this would turn out as nothing more than what he said it was: a sparring match.
"Can't say it's been recent for me, either." Legitimate battles were about as close as she came practice lately. Bumblestar rolled her shoulders. "You want claws or nah?"

Dawnpaw smiled as she looked around she had been here before this was where she caught her first catch at. She looked at him as he seemed a little flustered but didnt point it out she didnt want to embarrse him. She then mews "Alright Sunkissed creek." She giggled she loved the water here and padded up to it. Sometimes though she wandered about her parents and what they would have been like and where they met. She grew up in thunderclan but she never heard much about them. Enough about that though she started looking at Stormpaw again.
"Where exactly would you like to go?" She asked looking at him and smiling she let out a soft pur... She thought {Of all cats he picked me. Why me? What is so special about little me that he likes. Wait I think he is very very cute...... Wait? Did I just call him cute?????? Does he like me the same way???? He is totally cute though? Dawnpaw stop it now im sure he doesnt think of you that way} She looks down at the ground her face getting more red then his was. She was getting nervous her tail she kept from twitching but she shuffled her paws.
Almondbay padded into the sunkissed creek territory, followed by her leader and orangeblossom. Immediately she caught a smell of something, it smelt like rogues. "Um..guys is it just me or do y'all smell rogue to." she said in a low toned voice, not wanting to let a rogue hear if they were nearby. She padded closer to the spot that smelt the most like rogue. "This must be where mushroompaw was killed, the rogue scent is strong right in this area."she said as she kept sniffing some more. Thunderclan sure didn't need a murderer snooping around their territory. She looked over at the woods as she padded over to them. She didn't see anything, that was unfortunate. She looked closer in the woods, she knew if something had been moved in the woods because she used to always come here to relax, now it was a murdering place, what a damn dissapointment, to think she took her kit over here only a few weeks ago, she felt anxiety flow through her and she thought about how a murderer could have attacked them instead, she shook her head, it was nothing to worry about as it did not happen to to them when they were down there. "You wanna go deep into the woods? Looks like some leaves were ruffled up." she said, looking back at bumblestar and orangeblossom.

Massive brown bengal molly with amber eyes
Yellow eyes scanned the waters as one of Hawkcatcher's ears again angled to listen to Roaringmoon. She frowned. "I'd rather not." Getting one's paws wet was uncomfortable yet necessary, but if she could avoid having to dunk her entire head underwater, she would.
Another quick swipe of her paw, and a fish landed at her paws, but this one was far smaller, and Hawkcatcher flicked it back into the water with a dismissive sigh. It was no use catching small fish when whatever she caught was unlikely to get eaten anyway. She wondered how Riverclan did it, eating with and the like regularly and... enjoying it? "Have you ever tasted fish?"
@HerbalTea oh no worries I'm not in a rush!
