Inside, Shiverkit bristled, but outside, she just shrank back and edged even closer towards the door until she was only halfway in the den. "I can't prove it, but you can't prove your side either," she managed to whisper. Stunned at her own bravery, she nervously looked at Bonekit to see how he'd react.
