It had been a hot minute since Adderstrike had to babysit any of Primroseadder's kits so she was wondering how her friend was doing. Unable to remember if her old apprentice ever said what her favorite prey was, Adderstrike got a trout. It was her favorite and maybe it was Primeroseadder's too.
"Hey Primmy!" Adderstrike said with a muffled voice as she walked into the nursery. "Are you hungry?"

He walked through the entrance with prey in his jaws.
Hmmm- should he take this to the pile or- eh, lets surprise some kits.
He loved being around kits for some reason, mostly because they were so easy to impress.
Say something cool and your a role model to them, it was an easy crow!
Not to mention just adorable.
He wondered if maybe he would have kits someday...
He walked into the Nursery and sat the prey down, a grin on his face.

Ripplekit nodded slowly, cautiously. ”Y-yes. I would l-like a badger ride.” He shyly walked closer to Tigersplash. When Tigersplash leaned down, he hopped on. He slid a little because he is tiny, but he made it up. Wow! He’s got some muscles! I wonder if I will get muscly when I’m older.

Which reminded him, he looked at Softsky with a concerned and embarrassed glint in his eyes. "While we're here love, we should also share the news with Prim." He hadn't been to visit his niece Prim since the kits were born, now seemed as good a time as any. He knew that Softsky and Prim seemed to have...strenuous connections previously. But hopefully now that passed as the moons did. That would be ideal! He saw no reason for them not to get along now, after all Prim had Freezingfury...right? ...Probably. He had heard their relationship was...tense. Stars, most of Prim's relationships seemed tense. Why was that?

it is with a childlike gracelessness that the she-kit fumbled into reality. having spent the night chasing fantastically large mice and pouncing with utmost proficiency, she woke with a start, twitching into daytime as the smell of freshkill slowly left her mind--thought it was no less mouthwatering within her active imagination. she moved swiftly on, however, pushing herself to petite paws and blinking away the remnants of sleep from her chestnut gaze so that she may face the day.
but first! the girl examined those in the den with her. "good morning!" she mewed to whomever found themselves closest to her. a flick of her tail betrayed her playful nature, though her posture was held claustrophobically still for her tastes--she knew that good kits were to at least make an attempt to stand still.
