"Darnet" Raindrop growled. This was the second time he had followed a rabbit trail over the boarder into non-clan territory. This was beginning to become a habit with him. Crack! Raindrop froze. What was that? He heard the crunch of leafs. Raindrop barely dared to breath.He took a deep breath before he called out " Who's there? Come out and show yourself!"

Ripplepelt narrowed her eyes at him. "I was hunting when I saw you cross straight over the border chasing prey. Get too far out of our territory and you'll land yourself in trouble. Didn't your mentor ever teach you how to stay inside the borders?"
Still, she supposed she couldn't be too hard on him. Prey was so sparse, and it wasn't like he was in clan territory. She sat and licked her paw, cleaning her ears.

nodding, swanbreeze walked out of the riverclan camp, officially into riverclan territory. her body (for what she felt in a millennia) felt.. content. safe, even. why had she felt so content around a cat she was just starting to get to know? she wasn't sure.
``nowadays, aches just come from kits. if i worry too much then my joints go bad,`` she chuckled. ``kits are precious to me.`` she thought about her past litter, once again, quickly shaking it off. she didn't want a new friend to see her grieve over something that happened so long ago.
sighing softly, she let her body relax, walking alongside ripplepelt with a steady pace. pelt subtly brushing against hers, she listened to ripplepelt's walking with interest.

Ripplepelt let herself walk at a leisurely pace - they were in no rush to get to where they were going, why not enjoy the act of getting there?
She brushed her tail along Swanbreeze's flank in sympathy. "I've never had a litter of my own, but I'm sure they give you plenty of reason to worry," she mewed. "I've been lending a paw with the apprentices more often as of late, and with the state of things..." she shook her head. "Well. One worries about them."
The sound of the river rushing in the distance and the company of a friend had her letting go of tension she hadn't noticed she'd been holding on to. She let out a quiet purr as they walked alongside one another.
Asterpaw was walking by themself, picking some flowers. Her ears pinned when he scented a fox. They tried to run, but they were surrounded. Nononononono!!! she thought worriedly. The fox rammed into him, snapping their neck and leaving their bloody corpse behind.

Hearing the yowls of the terrorized apprentice, Shellwhisker´s ears perked up, swiveling towards the sound. The warrior sped off, arriving at the scene as she saw the fox running off. Shellwhisker´s ice-blue eyes widened, her ears flattening as she looked at Asterpaw´s bloodied body.
´´Great StarClan!´´ She gasped, placing a snowy-white forepaw on the apprentice´s body as she crouched beside her deceased Clanmate. ´´Asterpaw?´´ Shellwhisker mewed. ´´Asterpaw! Great StarClan, you mouse-brain! Wake up! Your Clanmates need you!´´ Shellwhisker knew it was no use in trying to wake Asterpaw. Shellwhisker knew that Asterpaw wouldn´t respond. She hissed in frustration after the fox.

Just how many patrols would she have to carry out on her own? She was getting real sick of having to do things on her own. Pretty soon she would have to start refusing to heal smaller injuries in an attempt to preserve supplies... They needed to last longer. Go further. Therefore scratches and bites might have to go unhealed unless they end up infected... No time to think about that. What was she even out here looking for? How about... goldenrod, coltsfoot, and uh... more cobwebs? Could never have too many cobwebs.
"Alright... So we need more cobwebs. Aside from that we're gonna look for goldenrod and coltsfoot. Coltsfoot kinda looks like a dandelion. It's got a yellow center and yellow petals and it smells super sweet. Goldenrod's got lots of tiny little yellow flowers that go up the stem and it has kind of a spicy smell. Feel free to ask if ya find something and don't know what it is. Grab as much as ya can carry."

Time to search. Cobwebs would be easy and in more common supply so she was on the lookout for the other two... Coltsfoot would be the most useful with Leafbare coming so her eyes would be peeled for that most importantly. Which doesn't take too long, thankfully! The flowers are on their way out but they should still be useable, especially if she tried to freeze them. Trotting over, tail raised, she chews off a few flowers. After doing so she calls out to Cherryswirl with a trill to her tone.
"Cherryswirl, over here! If ya could grab a few, that'd be great!"

The second flower on her list, however... Now this one takes her a lot longer. After nodding to Cherryswirl as the she-cat hopefully follows her instruction, she goes off searching for what feels like forever. She has a tendency to stray off on her own but ever since the incident with Spiderleap... She's sure to keep the other molly close enough to smell. When she finally happens upon a single goldenrod plant it doesn't look too good. The stems are filled with brown and dead flowers... All except for one. It, too, looked like it was on it's way to season's end but half of the stalk still had yellow flowers so she's taking it for herself.
