Darkkit tried to sneak out of camp. She wondered about the swimming contest.

Raccoonpelt had been sitting in his nest as he groomed his fur. The tom kept an eye out for both his son and daughter making sure they didn't get into trouble. While keeping an eye out for Minkkit and Flintkit his yellow eyes landed on a kit by the name Darkkit. Raccoonpelt knew that look. The look of trying to sneak out of not just the nursery but the camp itself. Raccoonpelt knew that look due to his own sister having it constantly when they were just kits in Shadowclan.

The large to stood up and went over to the kit flicking an ear as a looked at Darkkit before speaking.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Tinykit yawned, looking up at her mother. Woah! It was morning already! She stood up, fell down, and stood up again. A bundle of excitement, she was more than ready to start her day! 'Mom!' She yelled to Poppyseed, although they were less than a tail-length away from each other. 'What are we gonna do today? Can it be something awesome and fun?'

Poppyseed awoke to Tinykit yelling at her, already full of energy. She yawned and sat up.
"Good morning Tinykit. Yes dear. I have a very fun surprise planned for today!"
She stretched her legs out.
"But first, I need some food. Would you be willing to run out to the prey pile and grab a nice piece for me?"

'Of course, mom! I'll grab you the biggest piece of prey, and I'll bring it back super fast!' Tinykit ran out of the nursery as quickly as her small legs would carry her. She arrived in the clearing and gazed at it in awe for a moment before rushing towards the prey pile. She grabbed a fish that looked particularly large and ran back to the nursery. She struggled with this part, due t the added weight of the fish. When Tinykit was back in the nursery, she set the fish down with a triumphant expression. 'Look momma! Look at the bug fish! I saw it and I was like, 'woah!' and I knew it was the biggest fish there! I grabbed it special just for you!'

Poppyseed watched as Tinykit carried the big fish in.
"Why, your absolutely right Tinykit! I think this is the biggest fish from the pile. What a big, strong kitten you are!
She took the fish from her daughter and took a bite.
"Mmmm... and this is the best tasting fish I've had all day! Thank you Tinykit.
Now, why don't you settle down as best you can, and I'll tell you all about the surprise!
