Seedpaw was sharpening her claws on a rock casually. She enjoyed keeping them nice and sharp. Her eyes lifted from what she was doing, regarding Woolyfeather with mild suspicion. Surely this wasn't a murder attempt, right? Nah, too obvious.

Woollyfeather wasn't too disturbed by Seedpaw sharpening her claws. It was a habit she'd grown used to seeing among her clanmates.
With a chirp, she gestured for the apprentice to follow her as she padded out of camp and into the territory.
"Thank you for joining me," She mewed.
"We'll be able to bring home more together."
She paused, scenting around for a bit.
"Hmmm, what do you feel like hunting? The warm air will bring plenty of lizards and birds out of hiding, but the humidity will also entice frogs and salamanders to play in the swamps."
To be perfectly honest, she didn't feel like being eaten by mosquitoes, so she was hoping the apprentice would go for something else, but she wouldn't be telling her how to make her choices.

Grapevine eventually led the two apprentices out towards the territory without her fellow warriors, sick of waiting for them to show up. She wouldn't punish the young by wasting their time any longer. "Darkpaw, Spiritpaw there is a slight change of plan. To make things a bit more educational for you both I will be assigning you each an area. You will both go and collect whatever you find. It could be just prey, just herbs, a combination of both, or nothing at all. Regardless I want you to take advantage of this learning opportunity and hone your tracking skills alright? If you don't feel confident in this you can always stick with me. If so, I want Darkpaw near that patch of bushes and Spiritpaw near that large rock." Unless there was anything they wanted to say, it was Grapevine's turn to look.

Darkpaw nodded. He paced over to the bushes
and began looking around. He sniffed as well to find out
if there was prey around.

Darkcloud narrowed her eyes in suspicion as she watched Shadowlily walk off "Weird cat" she thought to herself before also padding off.

The dark she-cat walked silently through the undergrowth for a few moments before she heard the scuffling of a mouse on the forest floor she immediately dropped into a hunting crouch and started stalking quietly towards the noise.

It was indeed a mouse and it sat washing it's whiskers unsuspecting of the cat hunting it Darkcloud watched it with a focused amber gaze she readied herself to pounce but just as she was about to it turned it's head towards her and started running the dark she-cat leaped at it in the hope of still catching it but is barely escaped her claws and left the warrior hissing frustratedly.

Still determined to catch something the dark she-cat continued her search when she came across a crow pecking at the ground in search of worms and bugs, Darkcloud dropped into a smooth hunting crouch again and stalked silently towards the black coloured bird.

The crow was still busy pecking at the ground when the warrior was a few fox-lengths away from it "Perfect" she thought then leaped at the bird as fast as she could bringing the bird down as it tried to fly away leaving it dead at her paws.

Croak...

Shadowlily twisted his head, spotting a frog that took no notice of the warrior. He crept closer. His naturally-shivering paws vibrated his whereabouts into the swampy floor. As the frog absorbed the invisble waves, it immediately jumped away. Dung!

The pale cat hold his stance still and watched his paws. Blocking out hearing, he could the shakiness of his paws. How could you hunt at with such a curse?

Just then, a more older frog appeared. It has be at an elder age, eyeing the cat but seemed to have no energy to avoid the inevitable. Shadowlily pounced on it, biting into it and making it a fresh-kill.

Darkcloud emerged from the undergrowth and padded towards Shadowlily a crow in her jaws she glanced emotionlessly at his frog before placing her own prey down.

"Shall we return to camp?" she asked coldly patiently waiting for a response she didn't really care either way she only wanted the clan to be fed.

Seedpaw flicked her ears contemplative. She'd never been super picky with what she hunted or ate. Part of her thought that maybe reptiles and amphibians had cool skeletons she could snatch for herself.

"Eh, I have no preference, whatever crosses our path, I guess." she finally said.

She nodded and took off into the woods, nosing around as she skipped around. Aha! Her eyes landed on some bad smelling orange thing and she plucked the marigold from the ground, turning around triumphantly as she grasped another. Grinning, she skipped back over to the warrior. "I'ma go find more, but I already got two!!"

Grapevine was satisfied with her two pieces of fresh mice that hung from her jaws. Herbs seemed to allude the warrior this time, but she was sure one of the apprentices had found something. Once Spiritpaw and Darkpaw were done they could head home. @carmen @SoulJoy

Darkpaw searched around and found mallows. Even though these were quite common
he went back to Grapevine to show what he had found. He picked them
with his mouth and dropped them gently when he got to the cat. “Are these any good?”
He pointed at them with his paw. He wasn’t all too experienced when it came to herbs.

Grapevine purred at the two apprentices. Both had gotten suitable yields. "Great job everyone. Let's head back with what we have alright?" She hoped Spiritpaw wouldn't be too disappointed in not going back for more, but the sun was beginning to set. @carmen @SoulJoy
