Briarkit observed the bustling nursery from her nest, feeling very grumpy that her weirdo brother was now an official Plantcat. At least she was still the wrestling champion of the world.

Ripplekit looked a bit startled at Lily reel’s sudden question, and the little kit jumped in surprise. She turned big ice-blue eyes on the queen, and shook her head slowly, sitting up and looking down at her paws, the outlines of which were rather blurred. “N-no, Ms. Lilycreek. I-I do-don’t feel like p-playing.” She said softly, wincing inwardly at her stutter. She glanced up at the Queen for a split second just so she wouldn’t think that Ripplekit was trying to ignore her, before returning her gaze back to her paws. “I-I think I w-w-wanna stay in m-my nest.” Her voice rather quiet.
