Leafecho felt a calming senses of relief as she pulled one...two...then three acorns out of their hiding spot. She didn't realize she'd start to feel any sort of way about a game, but that put her right back up in the running with some of the other cats as far as she could tell. This side of the camp entrance had yielded results, maybe the other side would also be untouched by other players. So she stashed her acorns then began sniffing around the opposite side of the entrance in a hopeful search for more acorns.

Hmmmmm only one in here... At least that she could see. Carefully extracting her treasure from it's prickly hiding place, she added it into her leaf bundle (that was starting to get a bit heavy). Glancing about, brows furrowed in contemplation, Mistpaw spotted another snowbank against the camp walls up ahead. Her last snowbank had had two whole acorns in it, maybe this one had even more! Excitedly scampering over and placing down her bundle of acorns the grey apprentice leapt right into the fluff cold snow and spent began her snow diving search once again.

No! She missed! She growled as her paws came up empty. Next place would be... uh.... she paused, thinking. She got up from her position on the ground and sprinted to the edge of camp, sniffing around the bottom for signs of round little shapes. Please, please, please. She hit something with her paw and grinned. The smile fell from her lips. What if it wasn't an acorn, but instead something worse?

He grinned. Two acorns! He was up to four now! He was excited, and went to jump to the leader’s den. He was so happy!

Cindersky
Excitement coursed through her as her searches near the camp entrance became fruitful. Three acorns were uncovered by Cindersky as she used her paws to push aside the snow that seemed oddly piled up. "Oh, Buckbranch. At least make it hard," she joked to herself softly with a small amused shake of her head. She made quick work of padding back over to where her pile was and adding the three new acorns found. Suddenly, the senior warrior felt like an apprentice once again, ready to start to seek her next batch of acorns.

Close to her was Dogbark doing his own searches near the barrier, and she tossed the deputy a challenging smirk. She was unsure how many she had, but if anything could come of this she hoped a friendly challenge would surface. Sure, she had gifted the shells to the deputy but that did not mean she could not leave him in the dust in friendly competition. With a little twitch of her whiskers Cindersky turned and hurried along the lining of the camp wall, blue hues surveying the ground for anymore loose acorns.
