Lotusheart was grooming her white chest floof when she heard a cat call to her. The newcomer appeared to be Spiritedleap, Wolfpaw's mother. Lotusheart swung her massive head around to look at the fellow she-cat.
"Oh, hello. Nice to see you too." she mewed. Lotusheart was nervous around new cats but she tried to not let it get the best of her. The muscular she-cat was pleased to meet her apprentice's mum.

Yeah, I'm ready to go! Splashleap mewed, snapping back to attention. Hopefully nothing too bad happened. And yes, they had to keep Frozenpaw safe. They were Lionstars apprentice after all. He would probably shred them if something were to happen. @Dipper @Starfall @Zesty Mango (I know, she's clueless)

Splashkit was shocked about what Lionstar had said, about just tossing them back into the hole and leaving them. She hung her head low, she glanced at the leader who was furious and then at Cloudkit who was...talking back to the leader?! She was shocked, Cloudkit would get i even more trouble if the leader thought he was being snotty to him. Splashkit opened her mouth to say something but had no idea what to say she was petrified that if she did say something the Lionstar would throw them back into the hole where they were found. Wolfpaw admired their leader, so powerful and kind and great, he respected the leader very much.

She nodded softly at his ideas, lapping his back as to groom him a little. He was never too old for a mother's grooming, "You're right. It would be." She didn't name Brightkit; that was part of adopting, but if he liked his name, she hoped Lionstar would be understanding.

The black ears she-cat examined the size of her kit's mentor, cocking her head thoughtfully. Wolfpaw was bound to get rather large so the size of this she-cat would teach him plenty. Better than if she had taught him. She chuckled gently, contemplating how many different battle tactics there were. Sitting across from the other, she curled her white tail around her paws, purring happily as she gazed up at the other, "Wolfpaw speaks very highly of you."

Lotusheart was happy, if a bit surprised to hear that. Despite being assigned two apprentices, she felt like she still had much to learn about being a mentor. She'd had problems with teaching Brightpaw due to the big size difference, but that gave Brightpaw the skills to deal with a larger opponent. Wolfpaw clearly wasn't excited at the idea of hurting cats, similar to herself, but he was doing excellent.
"Well, I'm glad he's satisfied with his training. He's been doing very well. He has a talent for fishing and it also helps him in combat. I'm very proud of his improvement." she meowed.

She purred deeply at the warrior's praise for her little one, nodding attentively as her claws kneaded into the soft soil below them. "He mentioned that you have a second apprentice. That must be stressful." She cocked her head at the other with slight concern flashing in her motherly gaze. She didn't doubt that the she-cat would be able to properly train boy apprentices, but she worried what stress that might cause on Lotusheart. "Make sure you're leaving time for yourself." She bobbed her head gently.

Lotusheart smiled happily.
"Yeah, two apprentices are a lot of work, but I'm managing. And I do go out by myself to relax sometimes." she replied. Training both was a challenge, but she honestly didn't mind.
"Both Brightpaw and Wolfpaw have a lot of enthusiasm, but they're very obedient apprentices." she mewed.

Do you want to learn A pain tolerance exercise?“ he asked. He was trying to decide which kit exercise would work best for Ebonykit, I could do the thorn one or biting a stick, or kicking a rock... He paused that was if the kit was even interested in this.

Ebonykit's eyes widened. That was Blizzardsky... He was pretty sure. "Pain tolerance?" The fluffy black kit squeaked. "What's that?"
