As the call for a meeting rang around the clearing, Berryscorch got up and made her way over to the Streamstone, looking for perhaps another young warrior to converse with. But she was met instead with a certain chubby baby who was really the last cat she wanted to talk to. Turning to face the idiot, she rolled her eyes and sneered. "Haha! Nice joke. Now shut up and go away." She knew there was surely no chance of him being made into a warrior this ceremony, but she didn't give it too much attention, wanting to avoid drawing him into further interaction. In a perfect case, he'd shut his trap and leave her alone, but she knew full well that Blizzardbutt wasn't like that. The most probable scenario was that he'd be bugging her for the entire length of the meeting.

Seeing Lionstar arrive covered in soot and almost immediately make his way over to the Streamstone, Sootflare hurried over and hopped up to the deputy spot as soon as the meeting was called. He had made note of the leader's absence and it was hard to miss the column of dark smoke rising in the distance. He was curious to know what happened but, more importantly, what needed to be done.

He had no clue who these cats were. He had just joined.

Skunpaw padded up behind her mentor with excitement. "Boo!", she chuckled. The apprentice hoped she didn't really scare her. The apprentice looked up at Eveninglight with a smile.

Cottonstrike noticed his mother and decided to go up to her. "Hey Fennelheart. Looks like your leg is healing.", he meowed, hoping to start a conversation with her. They hadn't spoken in a while since he had been pretty busy.

Berryscorch snorted. "As if Lionstar or Sootflare would ever let you lead. And don't think I'm buying that took over ThunderClan crap. I bet you couldn't even make it across the river!" Well, well, well. Perhaps this meeting would be more fun than she thought. Squabbling with Babykit, though sometimes irritating, could be quite fun if you thought of the right things to say. "Now, have you been a good little apprentice and practiced your pain tolerance exercises? You'll never be a good warrior if you aren't practicing those at least once a day." If the baby tried to challenge this with the fact that his mentor had never brought up the subject of the exercises, she had a few tricks in mind to counteract any arguments.

Skunkpaw could see something in her mentor and it made her feel down. The apprentice's mood changed real quick and she settled down. She wanted this meeting to get started already.
