FOX HEARTS

Far past a mountain range, within an area of no peace, lives the Fox Heart skulk. A group of foxes that live only for themselves, surviving by being ruthless and demanding. Their young are raised to be warriors, their elders banished to the sides, believed to weaken the leash. These foxes live in the Lowlands, where prey is rich and the predators weak. The Fox Heart skulk is untrusting of Foreigners and will immediately drive anyone away if they do not have an acceptable reason to be in their territory.

Lazaro-hato’s base coat is coal black. His fur is normally coarse, but well groomed and is rarely spiked up in fear. His belly is the darkest part of his fur, continuing up his chest and onto his muzzle and also wrapping around his tail; the tip is a creamy snow-white. His spine is dusted with pale gray and shell-white, and it trails up and around onto his face. He has a dark mask, that almost appears to hide his eyes like a veil. His eyes are a muted gray, yellow, and mint green, with tiny flecks of brown and gold.
Personality:
•Cold•
He normally doesn’t speak much, except when it is to criticize or bark orders to others. You rarely ever get a compliment out of him, as those are restricted to his family and close ‘friends’, although he never actually refers to those he is near to as his comrades.
•Stubborn•
He doesn’t take new ideas well. He likes things the way they are, and if you try to change it that can easily be reversed. He likes being on top, and if you disagree with him he doesn’t back down easily, especially not without a verbal- sometimes even physical- fight.
•Nosy•
He likes to know what’s going on. If he sees someone acting suspicious, he will do everything he can to find out what they’re up to, before it reveals itself. He likes to have all of his ducks in a row, and if he doesn’t see all of your secrets, he won’t trust you.
•Loyal•
He would fight until the end to finish a dispute. He takes pride in what the Fox Hearts have accomplished, and he is more than willing to show it off, reflected in him.
•Far-sighted•
For some days, he will sit in silence and think. He likes it when other foxes tell him what’s going on, as then he can calculate. Lazarol-hato is extremely skilled at predicting what’s coming, not because he’s smart or can see the future, but because he uses all his quiet time wisely to plan for the future.
•Secretly A Softie•
He melts inside when he’s happy. You can’t often tell it, but he loves summer days and swimming and talking with energetic pups. If he’s ever caught horsing around, he will normally pull back up his mask, and pretend like it never happened.
•Liar•
He sometimes lies. Correction: Always lies. If it somehow helps him in any way, he will convince you of anything. If it doesn’t benefit him, he’ll tell the truth. His lies are his secrets, he keeps them buried until his dying day.
