A quick swat to her fur snapped Maplemouse out of her panic enough to quiet down. Her heart still pounded and her life still flashed before her eyes... but the evil little demon was now removed. This apprentice had saved her life.

"T-thank you." She huffed, doing her best to soothe her now spiky pelt. "I'm- I... Hopefully he did not notice the double take she did at his appearance. Had it rained recently? Or was he maybe just really into cleaning his pelt?? Probably best not to comment on it.

"I'm not used to seeing those creatures. How are you so comfortable touching it?" Ugh she shivered at the thought.

Oh what is this? Beepaw for once doesn't seem to be running around like some crazy dog but instead actually practicing his hunting crouch on some random bugs? Now isn't that a first. Wonder how long it'll take before that energy comes flooding back in.

uhhhhhh "well they're kinda all over the place, so if you bat at them quickly you can knock em off and they'll crawl away. or you can just get like a rock or something and squish them."

hmmmm he watched as the spider started to move, so he batted at it gently, and it scurried off. "they're probably more scared of us than we are of it. most of them arent out to get you. and you should probably get used to seeing them because there are a lot of them out here."

Pineblossom walked out into the clearing, spotting Bluetpaw. She approached the apprentice, mewing a greeting to her. "Good morning Bluetpaw," the she-cat mewed coolly. "How're you today,".

PureKit // ft. OrangeFlower

PureKit hadn’t been outside much yet.

The clearing was... big. Brighter than the nursery. The air was cooler, but not in a bad way. She stuck close to where she’d been placed by OrangeFlower, her legs stiff and shaky as she tried to stay upright. Her paws splayed out with each careful step, head wobbling a little with every movement.

She didn’t go far. She couldn’t, really. She took one small step. Then another. Then her back leg gave out and she flopped gently to the side, blinking like that had surprised her.

No crying. Just a quiet breath and a slow, tired blink before OrangeFlower went over to make sure she wasn’t injured. The orange and white she poked the kit with her nose and sent a questioning look, simply receiving a nod from PureKit in return. OrangeFlower understood. The kit had to learn somehow to manage on her own, despite her issues.

PureKit lifted her head again—slow and bobbing—and squinted up at the sky like it was the biggest thing she’d ever seen. Maybe it was. Her tail flicked once, then dragged across the dirt. She made a soft noise. Not upset. Just… existing.

She wobbled a bit trying to sit up again, front paws planted wide apart for balance. And then she just… sat there. Staring, slow-blinking at the sky.

BearWillow stumbles out of the elders den, orange hues
blink as he stands in an unsteady fashion.
The daily life of having a limp leg.
He huffs, smacking his lips, dehydrated.
This big guy needs some water. And soon.

He spots Driz, coughs a bit, then spats at him.
"Ay' git' ova' here!" he almost falls over with his
tone of voice and immediately coughs after.
Bear is probably over-exaggerating A little.
Okay maybe a lot.
