Rookadder blinked at Hazycry. Why was this cat so damn suspicious of her? Stars above. The long-legged molly simply nodded, picking up her prey as she padded towards the exit of the grotto and back to camp.

Rookadder didn't understand it. She was just trying to be nice, what was this beautiful- wait- no- no thinking like that Rook! What was this cats problem? Okay there we go much better.

maybe it was just her un-trustfulness. perhaps it was her wariness with others getting close to her. she didnt want a repeat of hawkpaw, she didnt want a repeat of papa either. sometimes it hurt. really really hurt. it wore down on her constantly. she always puts on a mask of deceit, hiding how she truly feels.

it tires her. constantly. she flicked her ears in thought. perhaps this she-cat was genuinely trying to be nice. a fleeting thought.

hmm. as she padded back into camp, and placed her catch on the pile, she turned to rookadder, "what is it that you want?"

Rpokadder padded back in silence, the long-legged molly set down her prey before her head swiveled, looking at Hazycry..Okay so she was distrustful. Yeah that made sense. Asking a cat to go hunting one on one when ya barely know them? Yeaaah that's kinda suspiscious Rook. What were you thinking?

I was thinking I wanted to hunt with a badass beautiful cat?! No no nope! stop those thoughts.

Rookadder flicked an ear, raising a brow. "I don't want anything. I asked you to hunt with me because I thought you'd enjoy it. I was trying to get along." The tall, lean molly responded, long tail flicking at the tip.

she didnt like this. not one bit. something felt so... off about this cat. she couldnt place a paw on it, however.

"no one asks me for a hunt unless they need or want something from me." that probably said more about her than anything, but she wouldnt let that show, no. bottle it all up. let it overflow in the moments it needs to.

Rookadder blinked, tail raising and tilting her head. "One chance hm? and how am I proving myself to ya?" She smirked, clearly a bit entertained at the challenge. She personally loved challenges, big and small. Her voice has a bit of sarcasm, as normal. Frankly, she was up to the challenge. Hazy needed to learn that not every cat wanted her spine.

Okay- she did enjoy the reactions- It was better than stone cold emotionless glare. Rookadder chuckled a little, grasping a frog. "Heard. You wanna join me?" The muscular dark-furred molly tilted her head, tail flicking casually. Honestly? she simply wanted to get this cat to understand that the world wasn't evil. This beautiful molly deserved to know there was good cats out there..
