Ah, so this was ShadowClan. It was his home. His home. At least, it was supposed to be. It didn't feel much like home yet, but he'd only been here for so long. He might as well make himself familiar with the cats.


"Hello there," the young tom meowed, padding up to a scarred calico feline with interest in his gaze. "I'm Daykit. Who might you be?" He flashed a friendly smile at the warrior.

she flicked her ears as a kit padded up to her. a rarity to approach her. when was the last time she had interacted with a kit? not anytime recently, at least. this tomkit looked young so why did he speak like he was older? maybe she was just a stupid kit but she was struggling to speak correctly at his age. words were still garnering meanings, so she was... a little suspicious, to say the least.

"hazycry. you're a new scent, either that or i dont pay enough attention to the nursery. could be both. who really knows." she replied. daykit. time name. hah. dusk, dawn, day. whats going to be next? moonhigh? sunhigh? afternoon?

Oh! She must have noticed he was new. Daykit nodded, ears flopping as he did so. It was almost kit-like. Wait- he is a kit. Nevermind.

"Hazycry. Hazycry. Okay. I can remember that." Daykit muttered, mostly to himself. "I'm new to the Clan, yes! Or, well, I guess you could say I'm new. I'm supposed to be a ShadowClan cat since moons ago, but I was stillborn. Dawnstar recently let me back in the Clan after Sleepysunrise abandoned me at my gravesite." He frowned slightly, remembering the look on his sibling's face and the feeling of hurt and confusion as she just turned and walked off.

"Speaking of, she is here, correct? I have been looking to speak to her..." His voice trailed off, paw lifting to tap at his jaw thoughtfully.

cloudy eyes flicked to his form. gravesite? what was the kit talking about? sleepysunrise? what the hell? this... daykit was confusing her greatly, stars above. "what are you talking about? cats cant come back from the dead." if they were, then hawk wouldve come back by now, right?

maybe hawk didnt care about her enough to come back. "she's somewhere. probably in her den, if i'd have to guess."

Daykit let out a giggle, sitting down and curling his fluffy tail around his small paws. This Hazycry was quite the comedian! The kit shook his head.

"Nope! They can! That's what I did! Look at me, you do see me, can you not? I am very much alive." He pointed one of his paws at his chest, smiling. "I had to face the council, though. But they approved of my resurrection, so now I'm here. I take it you've never seen something like this happen?"

"Somewhere you say? Does she have a separate den apart from the rest of the Clan? Why refer to it as 'her den'?" Hazycry would probably get annoyed or bored by now, but if anyone cared to read Daykit's header they would have figured out that he was a bit too curious for his own good. After waiting for a response, Daykit spoke up again. "She's my sister! Or... More like littermate. But like I said, I died when I was born. I don't she likes me, though. She didn't really look like she cared to take me back to the Clan when she first saw me." He shrugged, frowning.

she was so, so confused. what the hell did the kit mean he came back from the dead? she tilted her head. "i've heard spirits appear in the middle of camp, but never have i heard of a cat coming back from the dead." she huffed.

"yeah, medicine cats have their own den. sleepysunrise and silentpaw are the medicine cat and medicine cat apprentice, respectively." she murmured. "sister? she's your sister?" she asked. "if youre telling the truth, if then that'd make you... my cousin... i guess." she shrugged, she didnt really know enough about the kit to really apply that label.
