Her nose remained wrinkled until they were a good ways away from the mire. Phew, that stench was gone. She took a deep breath, breathing in the fresh air and the scent of herbs.
"How much prey d'you think lives here?" She thought aloud. She didn't expect a specific answer, she knew it was somewhere between a lot and a ton, but thats exactly what drew her in. She remained, gazing into the woods with wonder. She licked her lips, thinking about what could be caught here. Maybe some mice? or a juicy squirrel... Oo! Or maybe even some lizard! She hadn't had lizard in moons... She wondered if it would taste any different. She breathed in the spicy scent of herbs along with all of the prey scent tangled into it. This was going to be her favorite place...
