Spottedclaw kept ramming into the fort until it finally falls
Fogmask backed away as the fort collapsed, avoiding the small amount of debris that came his way. He jumped to the shore and continued up to the bank near Spottedclaw.
"That was fun!" He purred, shaking out his muddy fur before grooming his face. He would need to find some clean water to wade in later for most of the mud, but he was glad to be cooled off for now.

"Just a second." Fogmask nodded to Spottedclaw and rushed off for a quick splash upriver to make his fur "groom-able". "Ok, now I'm ready to head back." He purred. This was fun! He enjoyed himself.

Floodsight ✦ RiverClan Warrior | 28 moons | Mind Reader ; Killer Aptitude T3 ; empty slot
"Thank you, Aspenpaw. That's right, everything's fine now," Floodsight replied with a small smile, hiding away any pain from nightmares or terrible thoughts those moons would bring. It wasn't something pleasant to talk about, nor is unbundling it all onto an apprentice the right choice. Instead, she held her head up high and brought herself back into reality. Back to the cool, damp forest and running streams where she'd belonged. Not in those nightmares that felt like a rocky ocean wave, but on solid ground. Reality.
The silver she-cat had made her way downstreams, towards a calmer part of the stream and beckon Aspenpaw to come over. "Sit here where the water's calmer. Riverclan river are generally calmer than the mountains, but they can still flow and change. "
"New-leaf bound to bring new fish into the rivers. Tiny, but they are there if you look closely." Floodsight started and her voice automatically changed from conversational to much more educational. Her stormy eyes scanned the waters for sign of fish swimming about and luckily, there were a few. "There's no stalking to fishing, but you'll still have to be careful in some ways. For one, your shadow. Careful where it casts on the the river and be still when observing the river."
"The fish can see jitters in your movement and they'll act together. Scare one and you'll scare the rest. It's akin to hunting on land, except you aren't chasing the prey. Rather- you are waiting for the correct moment to capture them when they stray too close." She finished up, before turning to Aspenpaw with a tilted head. "Questions? Or shall we get started?"
Aspenpaw followed his former mentor down the river till they reached a spot where the waters were calmer. Aspenpaw sat down and watched the tiny shadows beneath the water's surface swim past. His eyes didn't leave the water but he was listening to what Floodsight had to say.
Floodsight then told him the basics, hunting fish was not the same as hunting land prey or birds. There was no sneakiness. Well not really, no stalking. All you had to do was wait for a fish to swim by close enough for you to catch. Only thing he had to remember was to not let his shadow fall across the river and alert the fish of his presence. ”mk! So if I catch one wouldn't that scare the rest of them away? If so, how would you catch more if they are all gone?? And I've seen some cats fish while standing in the river. Is there a method to that too??”
He asked, tilting his head and then looking from the river back to Floodsight. ”Uh we can fish now!”
( I'm sorry this took so long!! I went on hiatus and then returned with zero motivation/w\ I apologize for my untimeliness )

“I can fix her!”
Optional Prompt: Newleaf growth: good. Reemergence of bugs: not so good. At least there's spiders for your cobweb collection... and perhaps a unique, iridescent beetle for your collection? It'd look mighty fine in your nest! If you aren't afraid of creepy crawlies, that is...
"Alright here we are, be mindful of your surroundings even if we are hunting things that don't move Trouble loves to show its ugly head at the most random of times." She said before starting to walk around to find some cobwebs and juniper berries. A part of her wondered it was just her being lucky that she was always on patrols or it was somethings else behind the scene pulling the string to make it happy. If the later was true and it was Starclan well there was one thing she would like to say to this force and or forces. Thank you.
Wondering around, Adderstrike found she had the greatest luck ever. A juniper bush with some cobwebs on it. Now which was much more important to gather? Maybe it was cobwebs, they were used for so many more things. With that in mind she gathered up three bundles of cobwebs. Then she plucked some juniper. +3 Cobwebs +2 Juniper
She was just about finished when she saw it. "Well would you look at that..." Adderstrike muttered to herself when she saw a shiny and pretty looking bug. Well for a bug anyhow. The warrior tried to sneakily take it before the other apprentices saw it. She had someone in mind that might like it!
Pikekit had led the way, wriggling headfirst and rather quietly through the hole in the camp wall behind the Elder’s den. He’d just about managed to squeeze through, now was for the rest of them to follow. His murky eyes widened in amazement as he gazed upon the vast expanse before him. Riverclan sure was awesome, the ground rolled and shifted with beautiful streams and damp swathes of moss cutting through.
He certainly was going to make sure that when the kit’s formed their big clan that they would bring them all here to the prettiest spot of them all. ”C’mon you guys! Quick you’ve gotta see this!” He whispered excitedly, almost squeaking. They needed to come check this out and pronto, he wanted to share as much fun as possible. Plus they had to get going pretty soon, they couldn’t let anyone know they were gone. They were sure to get in big trouble if they’d been caught without any success for their plan.

Seapaw had managed to get the move right the second time, so Heroneye saw it fit to move on to the text battle move. He seemed to be gaining more confidence, though the Lionheart couldn't yet shake the feeling that he was holding back in some way. If she was right, then she would be proven right soon enough, she guessed.
"Yes, that's better; you were able to apply more force while still maintaining good form," she summarized, a bit superfluously. "We'll try another move now: the leap-and-hold." This one had a bit of a learning curve to it, but it was the best way foreward, from Heroneye's experience. Challenging but not ridiculous, to put it simply.
"This move is helpful when going against a larger enemy. It's exactly what it sounds like: one leaps onto the back of one's enemy and holds on while biting and clawing, she explained. Now for the more interesting part. "First of all, I would like you to try the first part of that move, and on a real cat. Simply see if you can leap onto my back in that way," she explained, reflexively slipping into a defensive crouch.
"I won't move this time; I only want you to get used to attacking a concrete target for now. You may begin whenever you're ready."

Cobwebs are easier to recognize, and Berryshine had at least shown them the juniper berries, so this shouldn't be... too hard.

At first, Owlstar couldn't hear anything else other than the regular buzz of nature and the flow of the river as it whizzed against the riverbank. All things she expected, normal things along with the occasional squawk of a seagull. Speaking of, did she ever finish ski---
A crash. A few large crashes actually. The leader spun around and turned her gaze towards the treeline, one amber eye narrowed in thick suspicion. Either somecat was running like a maniac, getting chased, or it was something else. Owlstar opened her mouth and caught a scent in the air. Only Riverclan, and one cat it seemed. Huh. Odd. Well, she supposed there was nothing else to---
"AYE!" She yelped, jumping back in a startle to dodge the cat who just sprung out of the trees, a flurry of leaves and whatever else their paws carried not far behind them. The leader unsheathed her claws, gripping the soft ground intently. She could smell the water rising from the bank before it hit her. In seconds, she was drenched, matted fur clumping up into tight coils. Owlstar widened her eyes and opened and closed her mouth, looking like a rather confused baby bird, pupil blown out and wide.
Blinking away water, a warrior came into view. She heard his howling first, a sharp rejoice. Owlstar strung together an amused laugh before giving her pelt a thorough shake, water leaving her fur in heavy droplets. "Were ya chasin' yer shadow er was yer shadow chasin' ya?" Owlstar quipped, flicking dangling fur out of her face.
Ah, that was Skywalker, wasn't it? Now she knew exactly what he was: a nutcase. Probably even an adrenaline junkie, galloping like that to Starclan knows were. Owlstar let out a small scoff. She wasn't mad though, just intrigued. "Nah, I don't mind." she shrugged, "N' thank ya." the tabby flicked an ear at his words, watching as he climbed out of the bank.
"Were ya plannin' that? I mean, that sure is one way ta start a swim." she honestly wouldn't be surprised if half the fish booked it from the sudden frenzy. Her eye drifted back to the water, crouching at the bank once more. She could see flashes of silver beneath the steady pulse of the river. She nudged him with her shoulder. "Yer lucky ya didn't scare the fish. If ya did, I woulda settled ya fer prey." she teased, but her expression quickly went slack with concentration.

Skywalker grinned at Owlstar's quip, dripping onto the bank like a soggy rat. "What, that? You've never run full speed through the forest before?" Skywalker crouched low over the edge of the water, lowering his voice so not to scare the fish away. Again. He merely chortled when Owlstar mentioned it herself. "Please, these fish are about a dumb as rocks. Just shinier."
Skywalker rose, padding a few lengths down the shore and padding into the shallows. There he stood, stone still, until the fish couldn't tell him apart from the rocks. His leafy green eyes flicked back and forth, catching the water's reflection. A silver dart flickered past him, and he slammed his front paws together, trapping the fish in his grasp. He whooped and reared up, bringing the fish to his mouth so he could chomp on its head, killing it. Splashing back down, Skywalker looked to Owlstar with a trout clamped in his mouth. He tried to smile around it, only to drop the fish which began floating away. He yelped and chased after it, dragging it back by the tail and tossing it up onto the bank. He followed, shaking out his paws again. His coat had started to dry a little, warmed by the Newleaf sun.
"So uh, come here often?" He asked. "I mean I don't mind sharing this section of the river with you." Yeah like you owned it, stoopid.

The apprentice nodded. He'd been feeling a lot better lately. "Yea, I'm good. Happy to be on a herb patrol." A calm smile spread across their face. It was, true, they were happy - herb patrols were always a good time, especially their last one with Eaglewing and Rainwish. He did often manage to get called onto these, didn't he? He liked to hope it was 'cus he always brought his herbs back on time, but who knows. No more thinking, though, Adderstike was here. "Hiya," he greeted her, then followed her out into territory.
Beaverpaw was quick to go searching, he'd forgotten how quiet his denmate could be. Not that it bothered them, quiet friends were always nice. Even more so, considering all the time Seapaw themself spent daydreaming away. Adderstrike gave a brief explanation about being mindful, which spooked them a little bit. They didn't often think too much about being careful in the territory. Definitely around the border, but on their own land?! Trouble could be anywhere, couldn't it?
They nodded, though, and went on their own little herb hunt. Berryshine had suggested using sticks to collect cobwebs, which was smart. So, they looked around till they found one of those first. A small willow sat beside the river, so they ducked under it's dangling branches, and grabbed a couple sticks from just below it. Now, they just needed to find some cobwebs! He went to duck back through and - "EEEK!" Perhaps Adderstrike's warning had put him on edge, or maybe it would've surprised him just as much without her words. Entangled in the branches ahead of his face, was a giant spiderweb, hosting an equally giant spider. Well, it depends how you class giant. It was actually very skinny, not very dangerous looking. But it's legs were soo long, and it was right in front of his face. "Oh, erm, i'm okay! Just a spider!" They called, realising that their sudden reaction was probably a bit... Startling.
A sigh of relief left him. "Ohhh kay, Mr Spider, I err, I just need you to move a little bit." He stared at it blankly. Of course, it had no idea what he was saying. "Sorry in advance..." He muttered, before blowing air at the spider. But - oh dear, it held its own quite easily, clinging onto it's web despite the wind. Another sigh. "Sorry little guy." They batted around it with a paw, making it scurry away quickly. They didn't want to scare the little creature! But it was the only choice, wasn't it? They picked up one of their twigs from the ground, and collected it using the stick. "Erm, sorry little spider, thank you for your home!" he whispered, grabbing his other stick as he escaped the dangling tendrils of the willow. Just as luck would have it, there was another spider web on the outside of the branches, this one without an inhabitant. So, he collected it up.
[+ 2 cobwebs/ cobweb sticks]
Next, juniper berries. They knew they were after dark green bushes. Couldn't be too far. They travelled away from the river, toward the patrol, keeping an eye out for anything that matched that description. He saw one dark green bush - but, ah no berries, mustn't be the one. So he carried on, till - aha! They sprinted up to it. A dark green bush, with purple-bluey berries. The apprentice plucked three - as many as he could carry. "Beaverpaw!" They called out excitedly, "do you need any juniper berries?
