Hawkpaw and Ashpaw had stopped in some meadow, heavy forest surrounding them. This probably wasn't a good place to bunker down, but they would plan their ultimate winning plan. Not like he knew any good places to hide. He only saw one border at his territory tour, but he wasn't gonna tell Ashpaw that.

He half listened as Ashpaw asked him about the fog. After thinking about it, he responded. "Yea I think so! It'll help us but also make things harder cause how are we supposed to see anything if its so foggy!!" Hawkpaw sniffed the air, smelling only the natural scent of the forest. When he suspected everything was clear, he slowly crept towards Ashpaw. "Psssst..." He whispered, before continuing. "What should our plan be? Like where should we hide? I think we should try to climb a tree and use that as a lookout! Can you climb a tree?"

Weepingpaw stalked out of the shadows with the biggest frown on his face and watery eyes! He didn't want to be a hunter. He was moments away from having a meltdown until he heard Emberpaw's name mixed into the hunter's names. Being a hunter suddenly sounded a lot more appealing. Weepingpaw lifted his paw and wiped away any stray tears while darting off to find his sibling. He didn't know how well Emberpaw could hunt, but he thought he was a great hunter. He bet working together would catch so many rabbits.

Ashpaw looked up at the trees above. They were awfully tall, the lowest branches hanging far above his head. "If one of us hid in a tree," He whispered back as he began stalking along the ground to get closer. "How would we alert the other of a hunter without alerting them, too?" He asked, glancing around. As far as he was concerned, any other cat he saw was a hunter, since they hadn't stuck around to find out who else was on what team.

"I think we should use something that smells really strong, like an herb bush or something. We might have a better opportunity to smell the hunters before they smell us, at least." He offered. He didn't know which herbs to start with, but he was sure that if they looked around for a bit, they would find garlic or something.

Hawkpaw frowned when Ashpaw told him about the flaws of his plan. Besides, Hawkpaw didn't even know how to climb a tree! Shadowclanners don't climb tree's anyway. That's Thunderclan's thing.
As he listened some more, he spoke; "Yea but, didn't the rules say as soon as a hunter is spotted they are eliminated? I don't remember exactly." Hawkpaw then thought about herb choices.. what would smell strong? He never really went to the medicine den that often. When he did, it's not like Sleepysunrise or Silentpaw ever gave him something that smelt too strong. Like honey or whatever.

"I think berries would smell the strongest, cause like they have juice inside that smells. Leaves don't smell that strong.. But what berries should we look for?"

Ashpaw tried to think back to the instruction. "Uhm... I think it's the other way around. If a hunter spots us, then we lose?" He shook his head. He wasn't really the best at paying attention. "Because wouldn't calling out the hunter give away our position?" He asked. He figured that, as long as they just hid good enough, they wouldn't have to even think about it.

Berries...? Ashpaw nodded along with his friend. Berry juice could probably work. "Maybe if we mash up some berries and grass and stuff, we can rub it into our fur to hide our scent?" He offered. He felt like there was no way they could find enough berries alone, if they even did find berries at all, to do the job. "Or, maybe some flowers can be mixed in?" He offered, sniffing the air. He did smell something sweet nearby. It smelled like... If honey was mixed with a flower, so he stalked closer to it.

White, bell-shaped flowers hung down from a dense tree. He snatched up a bunch of the flowers and brought them back to Hawkpaw, dropping them in front of his paws. He felt like these would help, but probably not alone.
