Bluetpaw sat beside the apprentices’ den, her ears flicking. Just when she had got a new mentor—Bumblestar herself—she had to go back to taking her training into her own paws. She had been mentorless for a while, and finally, when Bumblestar took her on, Bluetpaw had to go BACK to being mentorless now that the leader was in a coma.

Looking around, the she-cat spotted another warrior. Maybe they could help?

Getting to her paws, Bluetpaw approached the ginger she-cat. “Uh, hello…” she murmured softly. “I-I’m Bluetpaw, and—and I was wondering if you could help me with the rest of my training…? I just need a tour of the territory, a session on warrior code recall, and my…my assessment.”

Firebloom usually jumped when someone other than Sprucejumper approached her, but this time, when a timid voice called out, the warrior turned her head, looking at the apprentice with no shock in her eye.

"O-oh, B-Bluetpaw, h-h-hello... I'm... I'm Firebloom." She murmured with a small smile. "I'm.. I'm g-glad you came t-to me for that. Er... I can... Definitely d-do that... S-so before we g-go... Could-could you recite the w-warrior c-code?"

Firebloom nodded along as Bluetpaw recited the warrior code. Good, good. It seemed she knew what was right and what was wrong. Nodding, she turned towards the camp exit and clicked her tail for Bluetpaw to follow.

"W-we'll... Ch-check out th-th...the g-general territ-tory f-f-irst..." She murmured softly, mostly to herself.
