"RiverClan," said Copperpaw, deflating. "But they don't think I'm from there...sorry, you don't need to hear all my thoughts." She smiled, trying to clear her head. Come on, Copperpaw. Speckledpaw seems nice, ya don't gotta be this way. "Anyways, what's your favorite part about being a ShadowClan cat?" Ooh. That was good. Everyone loved talking about themselves, right? That's how Mother said you could make friends.

RiverClan? Favorite part? Well, definitely not training. The river was terrifying. How could any cat seem to know how to tame it? "My mother and siblings!" mewed Copperpaw, finally happy about something. "They're the best. I don't really like training, cause my mentor abandoned the Clan and I'm waiting for Owlstar to assign me to someone who actually wants to teach me. But she's not a bad leader, she's just...busy! What's your favorite prey? Mine's fish. Cats that aren't in RiverClan think it's gross, but it's an acquired taste, really." Why was she talking so much? Could Speckledpaw see behind the happy facade she tried to put on to the hydrophobic apprentice who had no mentor that wanted to teach her? Could she see how anxious she was? On top of that, Stormwish was seeming preoccupied lately. Maybe she would have another litter of kits, pushing Cops even further away from her.
@BlowingBubbles (sorry for her doom spiral she's a pessimist lol)

Having held her place seemed to have payed off. The fainted warrior seemed to have regained their senses, and she noticed Leechscar was talking positively amicably with the tom despite the situation. And by amicably, she meant that it was surprising she couldn't hear the yowls from anger all the way here. That would have worried her, as the tom tended to have about as little tolerance for idiots as she did, making her wonder if perhaps there really was something the matter, but she decided against it once more as she settled down. The fury would have come to her already if something was the matter. She had arrived to this conclusion already. Not only that, but they were officially leaving, meaning that there was no more need for concern anyway.
Tossing the other medics a cheeky grin, she waved her tail as she got ready to join Twilightstar. "Same to ya, love. Here's to a quiet next few moons," Lightningstorm purred amicably at Berryshine in response, her previously stern gaze reverting back to the happy go lucky smile she preferred to sport in these meetings before turning with a frown towards Crowtooth, pointedly sticking her tongue out at him before leaping off the medic's perch.
"There ain't no one ruining your life, you overgrown dust mite. You do that plenty well without nobody's help!" she crowed at the dark tom with a look of indignation before pointedly looking away, taking the opportunity to check up on Leechscar and his... patient once again. If Quietjay fainted again, they would probably have to carry him back to camp, after all.

Owlstar gave a small yawn, one she tried to swallow back unsuccessfully. She perked her ears to briefly listen to the remarks around her before standing to her paws. "Al'ight, cain't be the only one who's tired of bein' packed in 'ere like sardines." she waved a tail to her high ranks, giving them a meaningful glance.
She leapt down from Seastones, landing squarely at her paws. "Riverclan! At my heels, sleep waits fer no cat." and with that, she ducked away from the beach, hoping her clan was close behind.
Myrtlespeckle idly nodded along to Irisfrost's words. It seemed like the polite thing to do, and she could be polite when she wanted to. That, and honest. There didn't seem to be much of a reason to lie about her attendence. "This is one of the few I've been to since becoming a warrior. News here quickly spreads once everyone returns to camp. But it seemed like a good idea to come this time. Do you enjoy these gatherings?"
Irisfrost
So Myrtlespeckle didn't usually attend gatherings. She understood the decisions; they weren't much fun, unless you were the type that enjoyed meeting new cats. Irisfrost wasn't; she only came for the news. It seemed Myrtlespeckle was similar in that regard.
Irisfrost hesitated, thinking about the warrior's question. Did she enjoy these gatherings? "They're okay," she said eventually. "I don't usually socialise at gatherings, so there's a lot of waiting around, and in leaf-bare it can get quite cold. But I don't dislike them."
Twilightstar started speaking then, and Irisfrost's attention turned to her as she began to share her announcements. They were still dealing with the twoleg problem, it seemed. If the leader's words could be trusted, they were doing alright despite the issue, but she could be downplaying the effect it had on WindClan. The mention of cats being caught in traps suggested that they hadn't had a great moon.
Twilightstar finished her announcements: new apprentices, warriors, and their medicine cat apprentice resigning. The last one caught her attention briefly, but it wasn't important to her or her clan, so she didn't think about it for too long. "I'm sorry to hear about the twolegs," Irisfrost told Myrtlespeckle. "I hope your clan gets rid of them soon." That probably wouldn't happen; was it even possible to drive out twolegs? Still, they might go away on their own.
Dawnstar spoke next; nothing interesting next. Then Owlstar. Irisfrost was already aware of all the news (it was her clan after all), but she still dipped her head briefly in a show of respect at the mentions of her clanmates who had died. That was always a solemn announcement.
Twilightstar called for WindClan to go, then Owlstar did the same. "Goodbye," Irisfrost told Myrtlespeckle as she stood up. "May StarClan light your path." She didn't exactly mean those words, but it seemed like the polite thing to say. Besides, Myrtlespeckle seemed like a good cat. With a nod of farewell, Irisfrost turned and followed her leader out of Seastones.

The Windclan cat gave a shallow nod in acknowledgement to Irisfrost's response. There really were worse things than being up late at night listening to news. It also meant there were much better things, like sleep. As the announcements started- without Thunderclan surprisingly, though she was glad to finally stop waiting around- she listened in silence. Myrtlespeckle knew what the other clans would think of all their troubles, but it didn't diminish her pride.
"They will be dealt with soon." The white and fawn she-cat stated. There was a confidence behind the words, even if 'soon' was rather vague. Shadowclan's news was rather boring, and Riverclan was not much different outside the loss of some warriors. Neither name were familiar to her, unsurprisingly. And all through it, Thunderclan still did not show up. How strange.
As their leaders called for their clans to leave, Myrtlespeckle stood up. The Gathering felt as long as usual in many ways, but also rather short. Irisfrost wasn't such a bad cat. The bobtailed she-cat started padding away towards her clanmates, though paused briefly to call over her shoulder, "Be well."
Ugh. Well that had been an absolute nothing burger rabbit. They didn't even meet the Shadow-Weirdos. so much for her spying mission. "Well that was... A bit boring." she let out a small sigh, before perking up again. "C'mon guys, let's get out of here!" She turned tail, following mama and therets of WindClan.

Hm. They'd come in with quite the gloomy outlook, but actually, this gathering had been okay. Given, nothing happened, but nothing was better than something bad. He followed the clan home.
Hm. It was nice to just cat-watch for a whole gathering. Noted, nothing much of interets had happened. WindClan was delaing with a plight of twolegs, Dawnstar was being remarkabley helpful toward them. It didn't look like they weren't getting a fight any time soon. He trailed behind ShadowClan, slipping in and out of the shadows.
