Wisteria deflated slightly when Adder left. The kittypet could tell that her mate wasn't... exactly thrilled. Which was sad, because she sure was! The puffy, white and yellow she-cat resolved to make Adder happier now. Yes, that was what she would do! "Beautiful," She called as the tan and orange she leaped atop the fence. "What did you mean, the kits'? They're 'our kits'." She hoped that didn't sound weird. Did it? Wisteria didn't know. But she wanted to know why Adder's Poison didn't call them their kits.. They were Adder's too.

Adder avoided making eye contact with Wisteria. "I know they are. I just... misspoke." Too scared of confrontation to speak up and say what she really meant. The dark thought in the back of her mind she was trying to ignore. She jumped down from the fence and trotted off into Twolegplace. If Wisty was following, she didn't acknowledge her at all and just kept going. Adder tried finding prey scent, but she couldn't focus. Her thoughts kept going back to Wisteria and the kits.

She misspoke? The blissfully naive kittypet took that answer well, and waved her puffy tail, smiling softly at her mate, big golden eyes meeting green. "Alright! Well, just remember they are ours." Wisteria beamed happily, touching herself with her pale yellow paw for a second, before seeing Adder's Poison leap over the fence. Well, of course she was going to follow!

The puffy white and yellow she-cat jumped clumsily over, landing in an ungraceful sprawl in the dirt, but when she sprung up again, her fur was somehow clean, and her pink bow was spotless. Huh. Must be magic. She followed the tan and orange she-cat cheerfully, tail swishing from side to side. "What are you hunting Beautiful?" Wisteria stage-whispered curiously.
