Owlkit, being his normal self, bowled towards him mother, tackling her tail with a grin.

Mintkit walked out of the nursery, blinking in the sunlight. It was another day full of wonder for the little gray kit. She looked around, searching for anyone who wanted to play with her, or maybe answer some questions. She always had tons of those.

Mintkit's gaze latched on to an apprentice, carrying a squirrel. Woah, she thought in wonder. Catching that must've been hard, especially since squirrels can climb trees! Gray-flecked paws carried her over to the apprentice, and she gazed up at him with her wide green eyes. "Hi," she said, a little shyly. "What's you're name? I'm Mintkit. How'd you catch that? What's it like being an apprentice? Do you want to play with me?" she asked.

❁he wiggled out of the nursery, those kits were too loud, and he wanted peace, he huffed as he padded around and sat down. ugh...this was boring. he got up and padded over to the little stream that kits learned to swim in and he sniffed the water. and dipped his paw in. oh well, he began to get in and try his best to fake swim. ❁
