Soda wasn't trying to get lost. Really, he wasn't! However, the forest was very big and looked very similar. Who could blame him? Well, let's not go there right now. Back to Soda being lost. Because he was. Very lost. The tortie padded through the forest, feeling like he was just going in circles. Had he seen that boulder before?

He made what he assumed to be his 5th circle, because he totally passed that tree more than once. It looked very familiar. Soda kept walking, even though he probably should be leaving some kind of trail so he could know if he was going the same way as before.

Dallas laid in the limb of the very tree Sodypop was circling, a slight smirk on his maw, resting his chin on his paw. He chuckled to himself, long tail flicking as he leapt down.

"Sody darling- what on earth are you doing?" He snickered, tilting his head as he watched. He wasn't the type to help.

Well, Dally was not being helpful. Was Soda really surprised though? No. No, he wasn't.

"Hiya Dally!" the loner chirped, "I'm just a little lost." A little was an understatement, but shhh. Dally was watching the whole time, so he'd know. It wasn't uncommon for Soda to forget something or to focus on one singular thing at a time, so getting lost because he wasn't paying attention made sense.

Was Dallas surprised that soda was lost? No. Not at all. Dallas sighed, smiling as he patted Soda on the head with a paw.

"nooo- really?" He chuckled, shaking his fur. "Cmon Sodypop, let's go." He hummed, leading Soda past the trees.

Soda glared at the tom, although there was no actual heat behind it. Dally liked to call him new nicknames every time he saw him. Soda was used to it at this point.

He padded behind Dally, who finally decided to help, and the two were quiet. Soda didn't really like the quiet, but he didn't know what to say. He and Dal didn't spend a crap ton of time together.

Dally rubbed hos flank against Soda's as he lead the smaller back to where the gang lived. Although Dally never really stuck around in one spot, and mostly just dropped in at random times. Mostly with she-cats he had picked up along the way.

"So- how's my sody?" He smirked with his utterly charming grin. It was no wonder he always brought she-cats home.

Soda shook off Dally's paw, continuing to walk. He was fine. He had to be. Everything was okay because it had to be.

"Nothing. It's okay, just leave it." he replied, immediately knowing he didn't sound fine. There was no way he could convince Dally.
