Asterpaw nodded again, following behind Fallenspirit. He glanced over at the swamp, almost gagging at the HORRIBLE smell. It was disgusting!

"Why does it smell so bad?" he asked.

The mud was now squishing between his paws, a sign that they needed to stop. "Stop here," the tom mewed firmly. The swamp stretched out beyond them.
