Weepingpaw padded up to the group upon hearing his mentor's voice. Tree climbing? Wasn't that a squirrel thing? Still, he'd like to learn how to do it. It sounded really cool. Oh, and there were Scorpionpaw and Grottopaw. Weepingpaw joined his siblings, quietly for once, he knew Grottopaw wasn't big on the whole talking thing. If he were quiet, he'd be less annoying.

▁ ▂ ▄ ▅ ▆ ▇ █well, all of these apprentice were way younger then him and he felt...well...out of place, so he stuck to being as far as possible from the younger cats but close enough to hear this out...climbing was something he actually didn't know how to do...so this could be helpful. █ ▇ ▆ ▅ ▄ ▂ ▁

Lupinepaw cocked his head at the summoning call from Commander Hawkbite. Tree climbing, huh? The tabby made his way toward the crowd. He asked to no one in particular, "And when, do tell, will we ever have to climb trees? I was under the impression that was a ThunderClan trait." They were not ThunderClanners, therefore he did not see any use in learning to scale trees. He was most certainly open to changing his mind, though. He was young; Lupinepaw was well aware most cats knew far more than he.

rookfire approached the commander, hesitation weighing down his every step. climbing..climbing.. climbing. why was that a skill he had to know. before he got the opportunity to sit down, silver eyes caught on the new 'apprentice', he looked to be about hawkbites age, maybe older, it was a bit surprising dawnstar let him in. most old cats didnt want to work, and dawnstar didnt seem like a cat to allow that so theyd have to see.

"we also have trees in our territory" rookfire remarked at lupinepaws question, finally taking a seat to wait for more cats to gather. "and its better to know what your enemy does. cant have the squirrels fleeing up a tree during battle with no opportunity to chase em aye?"

The young cat cocked his head once again as Enforcer Rookfire explained the logic behind tree climbing. There was a long moment of silence as Lupinepaw’s brows furrowed and he considered the words. “Ah, I understand.” He spoke, making sure to look Enforcer Rookfire in the eyes to be polite (just as he was taught). “It is a strategic decision to learn to climb. For the betterment of ShadowClan.” The tabby cat finally nodded. “In that case, I am pleased we are learning to climb.” Lupinepaw felt satisfied with the answer he’d gotten and turned his gaze back to Commander Hawkbite. He was ready to learn.
