Songpaw flicked a brown-tipped ear as she listened to Fernpaw, she was surprised a bit. Her brother had normally spoken so highly of Lightnight, but perhaps he was still depressed about Firepaw...not that she blamed him at all. "Ah!" She brightened as a thought occurred to her. "I made a new friend recently." She purred with pride at her announcement, although in thinking back on it...she wasn't sure what Fernpaw would think of Stars. They both shared some traits, one of them being the [attempted] cool exterior, and they were both hard-working and protective. "His name is Starlingpaw, do you know him?"

Her gaze was excited, and she twined her tail in return to her brother affectionately. She knew that Fernpaw always tried to put on a strong face, and that's why him and Hawkpaw tended to fight a lot. And she often tried to bridge the two together. Having siblings was work, but Songpaw wouldn't have it any other way! And it would be interesting to see how having new siblings would add to that!

Daffodilshine purred at the gesture, puffing her chest out playfully in mock arrogance when Watertail addressed her as the master of hunting. She nodded excitedly at the prospect of finding some pretty rocks too, that sounded like a successful trip to her! "Yeah! That sounds like a blast! It's a date then!" She chirped, giving a little bounce of excitement. Stars above, she's never going to mellow out is she? Oh well. Bouncepaw was always the calm one (ironically, given his name). She always took after her father more.

Rabbitfur's smile remained on his maw as he watched Kestrelpaw's response to his story and question. He laughed along with her, knowing full well that what he described was exactly as funny as it sounded. He nodded when she mentioned the hawk feather, eyes widening somewhat when she talked about trying to hunt the hawk herself. "That would certainly make an excellent treasure!" He agreed, unable to hide his concern. "Hawks can be dangerous prey. Do you know how to hunt them?" He wasn't trying to baby the -paw, it was a genuine question. If this was what she wanted, she needed to be prepared.

Fernpaws ears perked. "Starlingpaw?" Fernpaw then looked at her. It was a boy? Protective instincts coming to life, Fernpaw asked his sister. "I haven't heard of him but is HE nice?" Fernpaw asked. His tail flicking softly.

Watertail purred. His tail flicking, "Its a date" he repeated. HIs whiskers twitching in happiness and slight amusement.
